You must take a stroll down this charing Ouro Preto street, which is replete with food and chocolate shops, interesting stores, and great cafes. Excellent ambiance and vibe. Obligatory if you're going to visit Ouro Preto

Our hotel Colonial was on this street and was fantastic. It leads to the main Tiradentes Square and has many shops and restaurants. But is steep so remember so if you walk down it you will have to walk back up!

One example of the narrow shop filled streets in Ouro Preto, lined with shops of all types, cafes, and restaurants. On of many streets worth exploring.

It was easy to buy items from the region which were quality items for reasonable prices. The imperial topaz is one item we really appreciate.

Nice to walk n look into the shop one by one including the gift shops and jewel shops and some painting shops. Nice for all day long including night time.

This is the town's main street with all the restaurants, bars and stores. It connects some attractions to the main square.

Our Pousada was on this road. It is quite a climb from the bottom to the top but it is interesting, lively and has some decent places to eat. The Solar Opera Cafe being a great place. However, it would be so much better without...More

This street has a lot of shops, restaurants, bars and a couple of pousadas. It is right off of Praca Tirandentes. It is definitely worth exploring, but the city needs to deal with the back up of cars. The street is already small and there are...More
