Severin at KOPA tours recently stepped up to arrange a fantastic private transport from Belo Horizonte and a guided tour in Ouro Preto. The experience was well worth it and we enjoyed every minute of the day. Would highly recommend KOPA tours for anyone who is looking for an experienced stress free way to tour in the area.

I booked a 4 days private tour for 4 people in Minas Gerais with Kopa travel agency ,located in Belo Horizonte,Brazil.The quality of the tour was outstanding. The itinerary,the guide,the driver and all the other arrangements were excellent. I also would like to recommend the smooth communication with Kopa rep in their office.

I was looking for a last minute tour in English and Kopa was very responsive. They were willing to customize the tour a bit upon request as well.
It was nice to be driven around as advertised, answering questions about Belo Horizonte and the architecture, history etc.

We decided to add a city tour to our Belo Horizonte itinerary at the last minute. Severin at Kopo Tourismo wrote back quickly and we set it all up (they offer tours to many locations in Minas Gerais). Our guide was Christina and she was really fun. She really loves her city! We we able to see quite a bit in one day, and Christina was really helpful in giving us suggestions for other things we could do. Other tour companies never wrote me back or took many days to respond, so if you want a quick response, this is a good compamy.

I had a city tour in Belo Horizonte, especially at Pampulha, which is wonderful, and a tour to Ouro Preto and Mariana with Severin. His knowledge of the history of Brazil and Minas Gerais in particular is a terrific bonus to the tours. I learned a lot in a very short time, and his knowledge brought the places alive for me. I highly recommend Kopa's tours to anyone visiting the area.

If you're into photography there's so many opportunities to capture wonderful images of wild nature. Very large area with trees, waterfall and birds and also some small animals such as capybara and monkeys.Kayaking is strongly recommended. Best to go on a sunny day. Many sincere thanks to our guide, great work, Severin!

I had a specific reason for visiting Minas Gerais, which was to track down the place where my grandparents had lived and worked over 100 years ago. Severin was my guide during the week that I was there although I had built in some days to myself to explore. He met me at the bus station at Belo Horizonte and immediately showed an interest in my trip. I gave him the name of the place where my grandparents had lived and two days later he brought some information about the place that he had gleaned from the internet. He spent two whole days with me: one in Ouro Preto and Mariana and the other day was spent tracking down the place where my grandparents had lived. He had already found out quite a lot about the area so knew how to go about finding out more. By the end of that day he had managed to find a man who knew about the mine and also knew about my grandfather's colleague who worked with him on the project. It turned out that this local man's great grandparents knew my grandparents, and we visited the fazenda that his great grandparents had built and where they had entertained my grandparents. It was truly amazing, and without Sev's help I wouldn't have achieved that. Sev is very knowledgeable about the area and was full of interesting information . He is flexible and easy going. It was a very special and memorable visit.

we did by them 4 days private tour to minas gerais: ouro preto, tiradentes, mariana and inhotim museum. our guide mateus did an excellent job, he is very knowledgeable, speaks fluent english and the tour was very well organized.

This was a great day tour. I was a bit uncertain when I booked it because the description of the activity on Viator/TripAdvisor was very basic and didn't do it any justice, I wasn't even sure if I was getting a guide or simply transportation with free time in the two towns - but I'm glad we went ahead. Our guide was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and accompanied us every minute of the day (including lunch in a delicious local restaurant), sharing his knowledge and love of the places and the history with us. It was a perfect balance of seeing a lot (3 churches, two museums, a mine) without rushing too much, and learning about all the key highlights.

What age do you consider a child? I have three students - 16 years of age in your city. I am interested in setting up a City tour for them during a down period. This looks like a great way to see your beautiful city in one afternoon.

Dear Skier,
For children until 05 years of age, we don´t charge. Children between 06-10 years, we charge half price. From 11 years on we charge the full price. Please get in touch via email, aviator, skype or phone for further informations.
