It is a Plaza, second best view in town! For the first head to Mirante! Gread open space, good for walking the dog, having a icecream. Pay attention to the price of the local Popcorn!

This area was constructed for the visit of Pope John Paul II and is known to the locals as Praca do Papa. The view overlooking Belo Horizonte is stunning and you get to see some of the highest-end homes in the city. Binoculars are handy to check out some of the views and the yards/gardens in the area. There's no reason for going there. It's a distant place, there's no garden, no toilets, no touristic support. The only remarkable thing about it was the great mass that took place with the pope John Paul II.

Nobody there know this place by this name, but it´s known by Pope´s Square (Praça do Papa).Very beautiful place with beautiful houses and a great view of the city. Great and pretty mountains. One of my favorite places in Belo Horizonte. There you can relax, enjoy a coconut water, eat cotton candy, corn and other foods. And the cityscape is wonderful =) !
