The local is simple, but is natural. The "Gruta do Lago Azul" is wonderful. I would like suggest you go to the river around to make a diving between fishes...uau...you can touch the fishes or the fishes touch you... you can give a food...is a unforgettable place! For me the best place with fishes!

For a so called modern and efficiently run tourist operation it is abysmal. Overrated, spend you money on the snorkelling on the river instead.

I visited the Gruta do Lago Azul with a friend and we decided to hire a bike and ride there. The ride was 22km from Bonito (44km return) and was on 80-90% unsealed road. We both have a good level of fitness but found the ride quite tiring. We rode in cool and dry weather which made the ride much... More

Easy walk down the steps to the most beautiful blue lake at the bottom of a cave. The tour is an adequate amount of time since once you reach the bottom and take some photos, there isn't anywhere else to go. I thought it was worthwhile since it's not a sight that you see very often!

As you go down the cavern, you start seeing the blue lake. So blue, so beautiful, so untouched. It gave me shivers as I saw the stillness of the water.

This was a truly fascinating cave. The tour itself, as others have mentioned, was probably longer than it needed to be, as we slowly descended down the walkway. But getting to the bottom-- 100% worth the wait. I can't really describe the cave beyond what's in the pictures-- just trust me and GO! You won't regret it!

There's a small papth walking down the cave, I would like it to be a bit longer (it's 30'/40') but still amazing.

Very very slow. it is possible to complete in 20 min. it is very bas to see how the government support make it so bad compared to all private attractions.

This is a fantastic place. To be seen between December and February, 8am to 10 am. If you want to see the whole splendor of it.
