A must when visiting Bonito. Staff are super friendly, attentive and thorough. The cave is beautiful and the water is very clear for snorkelling. A small group of 7 people made this experience unforgettable.

This is the most expensive attraction in Bonito and it worth each cent. You'll need some fitness to go down 72 m (236 ft) on a negative rappel, then do snorkeling or scuba diving on 18C pure cold water. This is the only way to...More

I've done the SCUBA dive twice now and its the most incredible experience ever. Truly mind blowing. However waiting your turn to get out takes far too long. It takes 2 people 30 mins to get out, which means you can wait over 2 hours...More

We like active, eco vacations, preferably with VERY LITTLE TO ABSOLUTELY NO PEOPLE AROUND. Bonito is definitely a very turístico place, with LOTS AND LOTS OF TOURISTS , so if I, the Grinch, say it was awesome despite that, you better believe me! We repelled...More

Day before going to cave you have to do like a small training where you try ropes and climbing and get instruction. As a price is quite big (~900 reais) I expected good service. But instructors spoke barely english. And they said that tomorrow at...More

Fantastic experience. Rapelling down into the cavern was exhilarating and snorkelling around the lake gave unique and unreal views (the water is so, so clear). Going back up was slightly scary but the company running the show was really professional and I felt relatively safe...More

This trip is amazing. It is amazing being suspended in mid air among stalactites and stalagmites. It is amazing floating above crystal clear waters and then dive in them. The descend and the ascend are less scary than you might think and not difficult at...More

There are other agencies at the city. You can buy this and others tours in person once you get there.

Where would you recommend staying in Bonito? (3 Replies)
We are a family of 3 with a nine-year old very brave daughter. We all love adventure and we are traveling to Brazil from late June to early July. Where would you recommend we stay when we go to Bonito? We want to stay somewhere that is within our budget of $100 -$125 a night, but will take and consider all destinations. Also, how is the tour to ABISMO ANHUMAS? We hear it is must-do. But neither my husband or daughter scuba dive. Is there great snorkeling?

Booking Adventures in Bonita--River/Anhumas???? (0 Replies)
We would like to do the Rio De Prata and Abismo Anhumas while in Bonita for 3-4 days. Do we need to book in advance? Also, do you book with agents in town or directly with the company that offers the tour? Our hotel is offering to book everything for us but would like to get the best price we can since both adventures are expensive. Thank you.
