We took longer than planned visiting the Espaço. Lúcio Costa is the arquitect that worked with Oscar Niemeyer planning BrasÃlia. There is a large tridimensional plan of the city on the floor that gives you a pretty good idea of what the city looks like. We were there during Museum Week and were guests to their cocktail party, where they served appetizers and drinks made with local nuts and fruits. Amazingly good!

Provides a nice scale model of the Plano Piloto. Not a destination on its own, but certainly stop in when visiting Three Powers Plaza. Entrance is free, and well-worth a short visit.

After visiting the TV Tower I went to the Praça dos Tres Poderes, where there is a subterranean space dedicated to the town planner Lucio Costa - built at a suggestion by Oscar Niemeyer. The main attraction here is a good model of the whole city and its famous Pilot Plan, but there are also photos of Brasilia in the time of its construction.
Not much information is given though about Lucio Costa himself, one of the four main persons behind the creation of Brasilia. President Joscelino Kubitschek was the one, who gave the orders, Lucio Costa was the town planner, Oscar Niemeyer its main architect and Roberto Burle Marx the landscape designer.
