The first convent in Brazil or something like that. Very old. And magnificent views from the top of the hill. It's a must visit.

We went there and did not spend more than a few minutes! What a waste... I don’t understand how this is rated as the first attraction! It’s small, dirty, smells horrible and is very deteriorated!

The views from this convent are good and the convent itself is very interesting and beautiful. I was told it was a hard climb to the convent but I am in my mid 60's and not fit and it was easy for me.

We went by car and foud a good park place up there. It is the hiest point in Vitoria so we can have amaising views of the city and the beaches. The small church is also charming and quite.

Be you religious, or be you non-religious, - This place is well worth a visit for it's historical value alone. Magnificent views all round of the surrounding area from this 16th Century fortification/monestary.

We went to visit the Monastery and it was nice, we decided to buy the minivan because it was too hot to walk! And I am glad we did! We caught the sunset from there and it was lovely!
