By european standards this is just a standard park in a nice neighbourhood. However having visited many areas in Brazil its nice to see a park which is frequently used by local schools to fly kites, joggers and couples walking. It feels safe as there are quite a few park staff working, its clean, it has a small pond with ducks with a shaded bench to watch them from. The onion shaped stone is interesting especially when the low flying aircraft fly over it to land at the nearby airport. Its not the sort of place you would travel miles to visit but if you are staying close its a little oasis amongst the noise and heat of Vitoria

a nice place to walk and watch some pretty good soccer too. this name means 'onion rock' because of an unusual rock formation that looks like an onion sitting on a rock. the eighth wonder of the world. lol.

The park has big open fields, not many tree covered areas, it has a small pond with lots of animals. Nearby the famous rock that the park is named about, there is a covered area for gatherings and you may use it for free. In the far back of the park there is a big open fields used for playing soccer and baseball.

It's ok I suppose, but try to avoid it on a Sunday, as it's the LBGT day - The place is absolutely full of LBGT young people - No space for kids to play.
Toilets are not up to much as in most public places in Brasil. Not really that much to see there apart from the interesting rock.

The park has a few animals like ducks, turtle and rabbits. Kids enjoy it.
Nice to go out for picnic, as well as jogging and play sports (soccer, football, baseball, softball).

Excelente walk in the park. Small pond and birds to see. When you get hungry you can purchase "lanches" for reasonable prices.

In a city very short of green areas this is a nice attraction. If you don't have kids borrow a couple to take with you. It is a bit remote, near the University and airport but when you are tired of the dust and sand in the city and beach this is just the place for a picnic.

The entrance to this place can be a bit hard to find unless someone point it out to you, just know that it's across the University of Espírito Santo. I found the park quite small but very beautiful, once you see the big rock you have wonder, "how did that big rock get up there?", whether it is natural or artificial it is a wonder to see and definitely a must see place if you plan to visit here.

Beautifull and calm place. It was a nice plase to visit but only stayed there for about 40 minutes/1hr - the weather was to hot and the park is quite small.
