Pedra Furada is very beautiful, the surroundings even more so, with Morro do Serrote and Malhada beach there. It turns out that you need to have some tips to fit in the trip and not get tiring to get there (with high expectations)... leaving the village along the beach you need to watch out for the tide and it takes 1.5 hours to get there and back... on the Morro there are some carts - but no I used it - and even then you can't escape the stairs and even the carriage stop. The gardens, buggies, tours don't take you there, they leave you as far away as if you left the village. What we did and it was great... we took a guide (and photographer) who approached us on the beach the day before, he charged R$35.00 per person. He does this every day. He stopped by the hotel at 5:45 in the morning, took us on a path through a mix of beach and hills, on the way he took photos of us on our cell phones (he's very good at this, he knows the cool photo spots), we got there before 7:00. We took photos there too. At 8:00 we returned to our hotel, had breakfast, slept a little. At 11:00 we started another tour. His name is Rodrigo - 88 99620 3522 It was so worth it!

The place is beautiful, the walk is a little tired. For those who are not physically fit in the day will suffer a little because of the slope. I took some photos with one of the photographers who stay there, they charge 30 reais and make several photos and videos, it's super worth it.

Access is almost 2 km uphill, you can pay a "juber" (carts), either on the way up or down (every saint helps here). You have to be careful as the descent to the rock is very dangerous, but it's nothing spectacular, it's certainly beautiful, but for those from the south, I recommend the pebble pierced in Urubuci-SC and Ponta Grossa/PR, great access and views. better. (not counting access to Jeri, which is also bad)

We went by buggy, because we have a 5-year-old girl. Horse arrives in 15 minutes, covering 1.5 km from Morro do Serrote. The route is beautiful, with views of the sea. To descend, they arranged the stones like a staircase. We lowered the child quickly in 15 minutes and without crouching. We walk hand in hand, without any difficulties. It's just the physical effort of climbing and the possibility of slipping with the sand on the pebbles.

I say this because they told us a lot of things like don't go with children. In the end, my daughter went practically alone. We almost missed the tour because of this false reputation of being dangerous.
Considering difficulty from 1 to 5, I give it a score of 2.

Another thing: the carriage asks 80.00 to travel a short distance of 1.5km. I said no, because going by boat costs 60.00 before any negotiation. I was leaving when the guy called and offered 60.00. The Wellington (carriage) took us and remained sullen the whole way. Ceará is a place to bargain and those who provide services have to see it as normal, at least. Most are good people. You negotiate and then comes the good conversation. But I found a boy sulking in the carriages to Pedra Furada. It just alerts you.

During the tour we were informed that even with the 4x4 vehicle we were taking the tour we would still have to walk for 1 hour round trip. As we had children, it was recommended that we take a carriage as we would be able to get closer and the walk would be shorter. In the carriage they charged us the price of R$80 per carriage, as they only take 2 people. Walking from the village is 3.5 km. Unfortunately, we will wait for another visit.

The trail through Morro do Serrate is peaceful, an easy walk for those who usually exercise, at the end there is a descent that is well marked. The most complicated part is the climb, but not too bad for those who exercise. Older people and people with mobility difficulties are not recommended. What makes it more difficult is undoubtedly the sun, the heat and the strong wind. The view from the top of the hill is stunning

The drilled stone was the first place I visited in Jeri. The tip is to arrive before 8:30 in the morning to be able to take pictures and enjoy the space. To get to where she was staying was 40min walking, you can go with a quiet slippers on the sand, but who has no habit, tennis is an option too! The tide was low when we went and we didn't get into the water. But the view is wonderful, especially if the walk is the trail that descends the hill.

Recommended for those who like to make a trail, otherwise you can claim the entire route.
I that short trail left at 05:00 in the morning to catch the sun rising on the beach of Pedra Furada.
I felt missing signing plates. But following by google maps solves. A tip: leaving the Villa and after passing through the cemetery stay on the left track, as they will be bifurcating along the climb - one of them leads to the lighthouse increasing the distance traveled.
I managed to make the track with a more robust slippers, but you can bring your own shoe to the track if you have. The descent to the Drilled Stone is steeper and with several stones. Those who are more sedentary or have problems in the joints of the feet/legs can feel this part a bit more. I recommend going down more slowly and rest when you arrive, because then you have to go up and back.
The scenario is stunning and I recommend catching the sunrise. It is an hour that the place will be empty for a short time, as people start to arrive after 6:00 and not all people are educated to alternate and respect who is taking photos (maybe I got bad luck on the day because a couple came who wanted to monopolize the scene). Fortunately there was a polite couple who both alternated and took photos of ours and we took them.

We ignored the donkey carts and walked there easily ourselves. There's a bit of a steep bank to get to the beach, so people not used to climbing or wearing flipflops might struggle. It's a striking arch, but a line of people crowd around it taking Instagram pics. Go 250 meters wither direction and you'll largely be alone. Sea is rough and filled with grass. But it is beautiful.

When we were in Jericoacoara in 2010, we did much of the horse ride.
So it was very quiet!
This time, we did the whole journey on foot, the possibility of the horse/chariots no longer exists. The route of 1.7 km, consists in certain parts of steep relief. Thus it is not well recommended neither for very young children nor for elderly with limitations.
A tip from the natives: take the walk early in the morning or at the afternoon, enjoying the sunset on the stone, very nice! With the sun very hot, it may not be a good experience!
Taking these details , the tour is very worth it as physical exercise and to enjoy nature!
Suitable shoes will help on the walk!
And by arriving at the Stone, there will be the possibility to take beautiful photos!
