Club ventos staff is great! They remember your name and your preferences from one year to the next. Food is great and to spend the day here is comfy and relaxing! If you are thinking about windsurfing, this is a great place, relative good equipment and you just walk out to windsurf. If you are thinking about kitesurfing, this is not the place, there are better places to learn kitesurfing than clubventos, why? First the location where they teach is really difficult for learning. Second, staff is great, but equipment is not in the best conditions and also they don't have radios to communicate with the students while in kiting lessons (standard of all other kiting schools) and third, prices are on the higher than the other schools of Jeri.

Best place to enjoy the sunset with perfect view and great music. The menu is varied and everything is delicious (by chef Caca Dias, she is lovely)! Be sure to try the local "açai"; "peixe na bananeira" and "moqueca de frutos do mar". Please, include "caipirinha de caju" ;)

This is a club with a restaurant with a nice view, I think one of the most famous in town. We brought our kids (13 and 16) to have their first windsurf experience and I believe they enjoyed it a lot. The only issue is that the English speaking instructor was not available that time (and they don't speak Portuguese), but somehow they were able to make it through visual communication and few words in English/Portuguese here and there. Very interesting though. They were able to ride the windsurf at the end of the instruction. That would not be true with kite surfing which would require more days; that's why we opted for windsurfing. While the kids were having lessons, we were enjoying the inks and some appetizers from the restaurant. The tables have great views of the ocean. The restaurant is by the pound, the food being good in general (lot's of variety and Brazilian favorites). If I have the opportunity to return to Jeri, I would probably make Club Ventos a regular stop. We really enjoyed our day.

The wind is very reliable but there are weeds (sea grass) so you absolutely need a weed fin or fins for windsurfing. It does not look like club Ventos has these for their rental gear. Very frustrating. Don't believe the videos, only about two people (pros) can do backloops at Jeri. There is a big wind shadow where the main wave is, so unless you catch a big gust and at the same time find one of the few steep waves of the day (incoming medium tide), not catch weeds, and manage to avoid the 30 other people on the small point break you won't get a decent jump. The gear storage is ok but due long term you'll get too much sunlight on your sails. Club Ventos's own sails have perfect storage out of the sunlight but people who pay $10 per day will not have good protection from sunlight.
