I highly recommend this beach you children and elderly people. I went there with my family and it was pretty much the only beach my grand parents could go in with some confidence. The beach itself create some natural pools so the water is shallow and barely no waves. Of course there is more to it then just that but this is a good note. It is where the sea encounters the river. Beautiful beach!!! Worth it to see it again. We were at the "Alegria, Alegria" Restaurant as we call in Brasil the Kiosk.... The service is great. there are some people selling ice cream on the beach that are a bit annoying with a bell ringing all the time. apart from that a nice beach, nice food and costumer service. I even tried their coconut sweets and sugar kane sweet 'rapadura' it's very nice. This location we were just chilling there is not much to do just enjoy the beach... eat... drink and relax.... It would be perfect if they asked the ice cream sellers to stop with this bell ringing but .. that's what it is.

Beautiful beach with nice waves and at low tide quiet lagunes for relaxing. Exceptional scenery: wide beach with sand dunes, a river flowing into the sea. Good barracas with nice, friendly staff.

Located 70 Km to the south of Fortaleza, Aguas Belas Beach is a special place. Despite the poor infrastructure, the tourist is welcome and the service is good. There are plenty of snacks, meals and drinks at fair prices. The sea is calm with natural pools and a river of warm water that flows nearby. It is advisable to go on weekdays. On weekends the place gets about 70 buses of tourists.
