Place of Incredible Energy!
It takes us back to the American Canyons, the Cliffs with their colorful sands, all this wonder ending up on the beautiful beaches of Fortaleza.
There is no way to go to a place like this and not renew your energy.

The beach is very beautiful and the cliffs are very interesting! It's so worth it! I visited it 19 years ago, went back for a conference and chose it to revisit. To get to know it, you need to take a walk in the sun, so take water, wear plenty of sun protection and flip flops because the sand is super hot.

September/24: A lot of harassment from local guides to close tours. But several points can be visited on foot or by car.

Bug tour - R$200
Quadricycle - R$150.

Take to: 1) the Morro Branco sign that is on the viewpoint of Av. Luiz Gama, next to the (small) crafts fair and the staircase that leads to the beach; 2) Labyrinth of the Cliffs that is at the end of Av. Luiz Gama; 3) The beach of the 3 springs (well weak, not worth visiting, nor the cave, which is the best part); 4) Game of Thrones chair (furry replica); 5) Lagoa do Uruau and others (these do compensate, and are more easily accessible by bug / quadriciclo than by car / on foot). Tour lasts 2h-3h.

The beach itself is not bad, forms natural pools. The landscape with the cliffs is beautiful. 24h on site is of great size.

We picked up the buggy in Morro Branco on a tour package and were surprised we picked up the buggy in Morro Branco and rode through town to the beach, no helmet, no seat belt. On the beach we held on for dear life while the buggy sped over the sand. Fantastic experience, but nothing like we anticipated.

Like so many other places in the Northeast, this one has sticky guides right at the entrance. Insistent, they want to sell buggy rides and quad bikes. They even chase you on motorbikes. Apart from the guides, the place itself is wonderful. Here there is a National Park called Monumento Nacional das Falésias, which ends at Praia do Morro Branco. It's a beautiful place, somewhat reminiscent of American canyons.

Discovering the wonders of this spectacular place, taking the opportunity to learn a little more about the culture, customs, typical foods, tours in paradisiacal places. I'll be back soon to visit other parts that I haven't had time for yet. I highly recommend Fortaleza-CE. Don't miss the Fish Market.

The experience was excellent from the WhatsApp service to the end of the tour! Breno is an exceptional guide! Very friendly and trustworthy. You can trust! It was very worth it. In addition, he took beautiful photos of my family at no cost.

===Scenery===
Jaw-dropping landscape.
The combination of red rocks, silky smooth sands, and gradient of the turquoise to navy blue waters is going to amaze you.

The buggy ride makes it even better. The rush of wind and the speed will ignite your adrenaline!!

===Itinerary===
The buggy tour will take you to a few scenic points - cliffs, rock formations, more beaches, village & dune lake - where you can take photos and relax.

The buggy dropped us off at a gas station, where our tour bus came to pick up the group of tourists and took us to our lunch by another beach along Morro Branco.

===Food & Drinks===
The dune lake(small puddle / shallow water by the beach) has some bbq food and drinks. I got some roasted cheese on a stick and a glass of caipirinha. Both were good. They also have several hammocks in the dune lake so bring your swim suits!!

After the dune buggy ride, our tour bus took us to the final stop was where we had late lunch. They had buffet style on the ground floor and a-la-carte style on the upper floor. I had a-la-carte picanha (a "sirloin cap" cut). You can't go wrong ordering picanha in Brazil.

=== Tips!! ===
- bring sunscreen
- sun glasses
- maybe a hat (but the wind from riding the buggy will blow your hat off in an instant so put it away when you're on the buggy).
- I wish I had a GoPro for this trip. If you have one, bring it!!!

- On the way back to Fortaleza, you can ask the tour guide / bus driver to drop you off somewhere else, if you want. I would recommend getting off at the fish market (Mercado Dos Peixes - Market of the fishes), where you can buy your seafood, go over to the beach tables and find a waitor to have your seafood cooked to the style of your liking. I'll leave a review on the fish market soon.

===Service===
Our buggy driver, although spoke only a few words of English, was very friendly, had a great sense of humor and took great photos for my family.

Our tour guide spoke very little English. Nonetheless, also very friendly and tried her best to help us.

A beach surrounded by the cliffs makes this place quite interesting, but there is a lack of structure regarding restaurants and toilets to receive the tourists. The local guides are super pushy and inconvenient wanting at all costs to take an advantage of the tourists who visit the place for the first time.

Morro Branco is a stunning beach area about an hour south of Fortaleza. There's a weird labyrinth created by giant sand dunes, and many caves and waterfalls pop up further along the beach. You can book a day trip there through most of the hotels in Fortaleza. It's not too expensive, and a great alternative to the city beaches. Buggy rides to local attractions, quad rentals, microlight flights, rides on jangadas.
