The church is very beautiful, very golden. According to tour guides, it is the church that contains more gold than any other in Brazil. It's worth visiting.

Wonder example of the best in baroque churches in Brazil. Beautifully maintained. Docents were available to guide visitors if wanted. We chose to go around by ourselves and were given an explanatory leaflet in English which gave the history of the church.
