The visit to the palace Palacete Das Artes Rohin Bahia was a unique experience in my life because this has been the largest museum I have ever seen. The wonderful curios amazed me.

In Graça, not very far from downtown, a nice tropical garden, a few Rodin sculptures, a large Art Nouveau mansion, a big Brutalist exhibition space for contemporary art and a delightful café-restaurant make a rather interesting assemblage well-worth spending a few hours.
