Wonderful time in the Amazon!

Great experience! Would definitely book the same tour with Rafael again! I booked 5 days, 4 nights for the beginning of July, and I stayed at the Amazon the Ipanemas Lodge. The... read more

Great experience! Would definitely book the same tour with Rafael again! I booked 5 days, 4 nights for the beginning of July, and I stayed at the Amazon the Ipanemas Lodge. The whole trip was perfectly organized (!), and I felt that everyone involved (Rafael, my hosts at the lodge, and my guide) genuinely care about me having a great... More

Not the cheapest tour out there but definitely worth the extra money. I did a 4D/3N tour with them and it was a fantastic experience. I held a sloth, baby alligators, saw a snake eating a lizard, went spear fishing, and experienced all sorts of other things the Amazon forest has to offer. My guide Tonio was knowledgable laid-back, a... More

I had booked the anaconda expedition with Rafael.. but due to a family emergency, I had to cancel last minute. Rafael was the 1st agency I contacted here... he was very prompt in giving information as well as options. He responded to all emails so well and in the most friendly manner. I did not actually experience his company in... More

This is certainly one for the books or perhaps the book itself! The people were incredible; you feel as though you are part of a family. The experience was incredible; saw and did so much. There is just no other way to describe it. Words cannot express my pleasure and satisfaction with this tour. The experience was amazing from the... More

When searching for options "jungle trips from Manaus", I realized, that around such a multi-million industrial pole neither real nature nor indigenous communities can be found and most jungle tours from there are tourist traps (with staged Indians or farmland presented as primary forest). Rafael from Amazon Riders, an experienced tour company and guide originally from Peru, suggested two areas... More

Was 2 hours late in picking us up for tour without notice. The guide assigned did not speak much English and he did not give us any commentary or information during tour. He merely would point to something and not give any information about it.

We a have been traveling the world for 25 years. Booked many expeditions and tours. Used this companion for an expedition to visit the native people in Maues. The guide got drunk and in the middle of the night came into our sleeping area and stood next to my wife's hammock in only his shorts. Would not leave when confronted.... More

Getting there separates those who are curious from those who seek a real experience. The tour was well planned with English speaking guide along with a local expert. Ultimate Amazon experience.

Rafael picked us up from our hostel, and took us to the port, there our guide - Mugli ( the jungle boy) waited for us.. We had all the basic things mentioned on the website - pink dolphins, fishing piranhas, tribes, jungle walking animals, trees and much more.. Mugli explained everything in details, told us jungle stories and was very flexible... More

As a thrill-seeker, I searched many tour companies for a affordable jungle tour that would let me had some fun in the jungle. And I do not regret a bit of my decision to go with Amazon Riders. The tour was exactly as we agreed upon and contained lots of adventure besides the more touristy first day of the Anaconda... More
