Good place to tour in the afternoon to avoid heat. Interesting tour. Gift shop has not a lot to offer.

The Opera House is located in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. Was built in 1881, during the golden age of the rubber boom. There are presentations of free concerts.

Very nice place. Painting on walll are state of arts. Mirrors paintings in a dance room are very good. Must visit place if you are in town.

As other responders have said, you'll need to go to the theatre on arrival, or to the tourist information office on the opposite side of the theatre square. There are some free performances of music and drama. The free tour... More
