My mum and I recently spent 3 nights at Vanessa and Leo's lodge with their lovely family and it was a truly fantastic experience! We arrived very tired and left refreshed and reinvigorated having seen some beautiful areas of the rainforest and tasted plenty of delicious fresh food from the garden. Whether you want adventure, ecological education or relaxation, I'm... More

Four days with Vanessa and Leo’s family was an adventure, physically as well as spiritually. We came closer to nature and people, learned about the history of Amazonas, animals’ strange way of life, and how to create new soil in a tropical garden. We had hours in the hammock with a good book, long meals with conversations over locally harvested... More

Thank you Vanessa and Leo and children for a fantastic Jungle immersion experience. We enjoyed every minute of it: Your lovely guesthouse, fantastic food and gentle company, the exciting tree climbing, the jungle walks, bird- and animal watching with knowledgeable guides - everything. Couldn't be better! Highly recommended, both as a holiday experience and as tropical forest awarenessraising experience.

Five stars are not enough! Tropical Tree Climbing is professional and well-organized. We were picked up on time at the hotel and warmly welcomed by Leo, Vanessa and their adorable family. The tree climbing requires a bit of physical endurance and courage, but the result (being perched in the Amazonian canopy, listening to the wind and birds in the trees)... More

I've been to some incredible places, but this has been the best so far! This isn't a tourist spot, it's a home stay. This is the most welcoming family you will ever meet. The vibe is completely relaxed, and they encourage you to make the most of your time in the jungle by slowing down and taking it all in.... More

This little slice of heaven is a jewel. Others have already said it, so trust the reviews- it's really this good and it's not just about the climb, which could very possibly blow your mind. It's about your hosts, and they are wonderful. Thank you Leo, Vanessa and your family.

First of all, Leo, Vanessa and family are espetacular. They live a different life than usual and to be near this exotic way of life make us reflect about our values and future. Amazing! The tree climbing is very interesting too, the view and the feeling are speechless. Rooms are cozy and clean. Food, no words, I definately will go... More

It is rare that I find a place off the beaten path, tucked away in the jungle, away from the worlds' problems, and am completely blown away by their service, hospitality, generosity, and the product they deliver. I simply cannot say enough about my time at Tropical Tree Climbing. I seriously did not want to leave. It was by far... More

My wife and I did the 1 day experience and it was a brilliant day! The family are so friendly and interestingly, and incredibly welcoming. The climb was hard work (it's a humid place in that jungle!) but made getting to the top all the more rewarding. At the top, you are above the canopy of the trees and it... More
