We met Armstrong at the airport when we arrived in Manaus. He offered us a variety of tours that fit our brief stay in Manaus. We chose the half day river boat tour that included the conflunence of the rivers, the flooded forest and the floating village. The entire experience was even better than he described. We were his only customers that day so we had a private trip for a great price. Our english speaking guide Daniel helped make our tour especially memorable. Daniel was very knowledgeable and interesting. I would recommend Amazon Exotic Tours if you plan on visiting Manaus and touring the Amazon basin.

I took a tour with them back in September and overall it was great! Our guide(Eduardo) was awesome! I paid an extra $60 for the booking agent Armstrong Batista to mail me a package. He said the post office was on strike! I find that weird because he told me they were going to mail via international shipping company (Fedex or DHL). He said he finally shipped the package but I never received the tracking code. I've emailed him 2-3 time and no response. Now he has taken my money and won't respond to my emails! Please be aware before you book with him or ask him to ship anything!

Met Armstrong by chance at Manaus Airport after flying down from Rio with my son with a view to finding a trip up the Amazon. Best bit of luck in Brazil. Armstrong had a drink with us and produced a custom tour to our timescale and pocket. We had a fantastic day trip with monkeys, Indians, meeting of the waters etc. and a three day Amazon adventure with one night in a lodge and one night in the jungle for less than a week away in Blackpool. Armstrong even took us to the airport when we flew back to Rio. An honest and fun guy that became our friend and the jungle tour guides were so friendly and knowledgeable with great English. An experience of a lifetime at a cost lower than you think with memories with my son that will stay with me till I die. I would give it ten stars if I could. Steve C. Brighton, England

I booked a 5 day 4 night jungle tour with Armstrong. It was incredible! The guide spoke fluent English and knew the names of all the animals and plants, the lodge had great food and the air conditioning in the rooms and private bathrooms were an unexpected luxury. Armstrong took care of everything and it was clear that he could arrange any kind of tour that I wanted. He has all the connections and understands the kind of experience that western travelers are looking for. Thank you Armstrong for an unforgettable experience.
