Beautiful Beach

We visited as the tide was leaving. The water is amazing, super clear. Great place to sit and enjoy the sun or the water.

We took the van to São Miguel dos Milagres, which was told to be 1 hour and 10 minutes.....but in fact it was too far away....2 hours on a Bad Road. I don't recommend.

It is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. Also, the sea it is really calm, so I do not have to worry with big waves and stuff like that.

I choose to visit São Miguel Dos Milagres because I was looking for a beautiful and tranquil beach in Brazil. If you are the kind of person who likes to be in an almost desert place, São Miguel can offer you that! Additionally, the place has simple but very cosy and good service b&bs. I visited the place in Jun15,... More

Was a waste of a day and money this one for us. Beach is protected so the restaurant is a bit of a walk from the sand, the trip to see the Manatees was a waste of money and time also with only a couple of noses showing above the water. Apparently its better during summer but I wont be... More

Beautiful beach, great infrastructure with awesome stores but the place is too crowded. If you don't have issues about competing for any significant space on the beach you will enjoy the place.

As most beaches in Maceió, the reefs turn the sea into a giant salty pool. Barra de São Miguel is not as crowded as the neighboring beaches of Francês or Gunga, and the water is deliciously cooler. Prices on bars are more reasonable as well. There are people renting canoes, kayaks, and paddle swan-shaped boats. Praero restaurant is on the... More

This is a stop on the way to Gunga. It is nice to look at the beach and take a picture, 10 minutes is enough.

There's a huge part of the beach that's still pretty much deserted - you can walk for an hour and you won't meet a soul! And if you feel lonely, there's plenty of bars on the opposite direction !
