We saw very very few people in the water, and heard from locals that PAJUÇARA and Jutiuca Beach are polluted because of the city gutter that ends in the sea between those beaches. If you just want to sit on the beach and sip a coconut juice, then it is ok.

Good place to visit, but it is not a must go in this city. It is good to buy some souvenires and do a bike ride. There's some places to rent a bike.

This beach was closest to our hotel. It is average at best, and not always clean, later we went to San Miguel dos Milagros and discovered how good Brazilian beaches can be

I went there with my firends and was surprised at the bubbly and and lively range of pepple and options of what to do: want to sunbathe? Fancy a boat trip? Would like to explore the reefs? That ' s the place to be. I intend to go back there, definitely!

Are there a beautiful view? Yes, but several times a year this beach is improper to swimming due of lack adequate treatment of sewer. You can find good beaches on south and north of Maceio, such as Gunga and Ipioca beach respectively.

The beach is very busy and not very clean. In the mornings the tide is down and there is seaweed and garbage washed up on shore. The farther north you walk on the beach, the more north east you walk on the beach, the more seaweed there is and can be stinky. But if you walk to the end there... More

For a beach that finds itself right at the core of the city it is a a nice place to know and meet people from the Maceio. It may be a bit disturbing the pressure some of then locals might put on you to buy stuff of the take a tour at the Jangads, but this not by any means... More

This is a beach where things happen...the way I want it. Lot of people and you can spend many days just looking around you. On Sundays thev shut off the traffic and open the street for youth and Children activities. What I don´t like is the lots of litter on the beach and in the water, and that some parts... More

The boat tour to the natural pools in Pajuçara was great! The tour must be done in the morning when the tide is low. The water is crystal clear and we could see several fishes and give them food during the tour!
