I love Maceio! Beautiful town with a beautiful sea. I took the September holiday in Brazil and returned to town. I wanted to return to Barra de São Miguel to Gunga. I do not think the interesting beach of the French. What interested me was to go Barra de São Miguel to Gunga beach, across the sea in a boat,... More

Beautiful beach private area with this farm of palm trees , the buggie car ride is amazing, the beach is clean but the waves very strong.

I first visited this beach 24 years ago and it was a paradise. Unfortunately all good things become exploited and ruined. The restauants used to have a wonderful menu with top quality dishes. Yesterday we went for the afternoon and I was thoroughly disappointed with the poor quality of food with very high prices . We went to a restaurant... More

We visited Praia do Gunga in the day tour of the beaches in Maceió. This was our last stop and it was crazy awesome. You had the option to chill on the tented tables and relax with some beers. We decided to do the quad bike tour on the beach, this was definitely the highlight of the tour. It was... More

We wanted a nice, calm family day on the beach, with our own picnic basket. We were in Gunga some years ago and remembered it that way. So we went. The bad experience started with queing a narrow road where, in the end, we were charged big for the parking. On the beach we asked several places about the system,... More

This is a beautiful beach that was unfortunately been overexploited by tourism. Twenty years ago it might have been a paradise, but not it is a overcrowded tourist trap. If you are after beautiful, still unspoiled beaches in Maceió keep yourself in the north shore - Prategy is one beautiful beach with reasonable infrastructure (there is a resort nearby with... More

Nice clean beach with stunning views. Don't miss the tour to the "falesias" for me it was the highlight of the day! The restaurants are expensive and the food isn't that good. There are some water sports too. Don't forget the suncream!

Beautiful place, warm beach water, the color of the sea is incredible. You can play buggy and see a little river near the rocks and the beach, I have adored there. It's a place that I recomend to visit.

The beach is astonishing and a must go!!! You can look it from above in a Mirante, that costs BRL2. You can see a huge coconut palm tree farm, the beach and the green sea. The best is to take a ATV (or a buggy) for the ride. We paid 100BRL and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! You drive down... More
