Very nice fortress, interesting to visit. We arrived little bit early before opening so we just waited on the benches. Outside is small replica of old workshop. Interior is also very interesting. And it's not full of tourits yet. Definitely recommend to pay a visit.

Small castle in a very quiet and „out of the tourist path” area. There is a small parking lot next to it, but it is quite difficult to find, since there is no sign to guide non-locals to it. We just left the car before the entrance to the village and we walked through the houses to the castle. This in itself was quite an experience.
There is a little museum in the castle, not many exhibits and the curator spoke only a few words of English, but frankly that makes it even more authentic.
Recommended if you want something not yet crowded with tourists.

A lovely place where you really feel the tradition and culture of Bosnia. This Fortress was a very strategic place in the past. Some elder friends told me that more than hundred years ago that people wished travelles from Doboj to Zenica luck to pass Vranduk... The castle has a tower with a museum inside, it is not free of charge. A (clean) toilet is in the basement. Some volunteers are there as well as a small place to sit. Very friendly staff. Nowadays it is very difficult to go there, because the only way to go there is from direction Zenica. A tunnel is under construction and traffic is guided through the tunnel.

An unusual and unexpectedly pleasant peek into the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the local area - all displayed in a beautiful location, overlooking the natural bend of the river Bosnia.

Recommended.

It's an example of a splendid monument - which local community does not exploit well: except a small souvenir shop and a cafe, both run by a single family, there is nothing else. One can't even have a luch unless you bring your own food. And this splendid fortress, which once represented the "Gateways of Bosnia", offers SO much more potential

We took our two boys who had the run of the place for about an hour. That's enough time as it's not a big place. It was a fortress guarding a bend in the river, not a castle where people lived aside from the soldiers. The view of the river valley is really very pretty. There is also a wonderfully restored old mosque beside the fortress and a small outdoor cafe situated between them.

A small but interesting fortress which is surrounded with the beautiful Bosnian nature. The view from the fortress is so beautiful. It's a little bit difficult to drive up to the fortress from the main road.
