Asthma healer city
Jul 2019 • Family
But i believe the old Romans knew it a long, long time ago.
We go as often as we can and each day swimming helps me to survive harsh Canadian winters (when i come back) with my asthma condition. It is even more beneficial to young children.
Nice place. Crowded but worthy. Try to go very early in the morning and take deep breaths.
There is a saying that these minerals help to those who cannot conceive babies. Give it a try! Good luck!

An urban jewek
Aug 2019 • Family
These salt-water lakes in the city center are a kind of an urban jewel hardly found in any other big industrial city. The lakes are filled with naturally mineral and salt rich waters that are considered the 3rd best in Europe. The salt-water comes from underground from some 10km away, and it’s continuously filtered for any impurities, so it is very clean indeed. The location is very convenient (near the city center), easily accessible (either by bus, car or on foot), the access is inexpensive and the whole place is very clean, safe and neat. If you’re staying in or near Tuzla, spend some time here, chill and relax. These lakes get very popular on hot days so get there early when it’s more quiet. There are limitations regarding on what you can bring there in terms of foods and drinks but there are several bars and restaurants (fairly cheap) as well as massage and first-aid responders on site, plus a museum etc. Overall this is a very affordable, and very high quality mini-vacation spot that I urge you to explore.

Family lake resort in central Tuzla
Aug 2019 • Couples
Inexpensive holiday lake area with a whole day of fun in the sun (in season) and water. Nice salt pools, three in total, a water slide and small 'water falls'. Kids will must likely love it and many adults, too. At a very reasonable price this is a holiday must, if you like crowded beaches and poolside bars and stalls.

Very little going on
Oct 2018 • Solo
It is a strange place to visit, a sort of Mediterranean riviera around salted laked in the middle of Panonian plains, and close to an ugly industrial town Tuzla that prospered from that same salt, but which also undermined the town and made it sink. There is very little going on when it's not a summer season.

A great place to spend some time in hot summer days. There is lakes, waterfalls, caffe/restaurants and children playgrounds. Overall a good palce for family rest/fun day.
Cheapest and most unique place of its kind in the area.

Something different
Sep 2018 • Solo
Passed the salty lakes during the weekend and saw lots of people. So went this Tuesday afternoon. There were not many people. Moreover the people there, behaved well: quiet and respectful.

Main reason for me going here was to swim. Indeed very pleasant clean water, not too hot and not too salty. I am not into sunbathing and chilling, but if you are, the place is fine for that as well. There are some restaurants and bars.

Do not take valuables with you. There are no lockers. Just bring a towel, bathing suit and toe slippers. There are small cabins where you can change clothes. Fresh water showers are available as well.

I found the staff including the security guards friendly and correct. The lifeguards were attentive.

Entrance fee 2 BAM (1€) off season, workday price

Nice place

Went with my son and daughter in law. The only drawback was that it was really crowded. Otherwise it's pretty and there is a bar handy. Didn't go through all the park, so may be more to see and do.
