I have to admit that I didn't visit the winery, although my parents did and they were very enthusiastic. I did however have dinner at the winery just outside of Trebinje which belongs to the winery. And that was quite the experience! The lady who served us (Julia, who also works at the winery) was very welcoming and friendly. She suggested some dishes we could try and we weren't disappointed. Great local cheeses and other local dishes, accompanied by the Vukoje wines. Absolutely worth while! And very affordable. We spent about €75 for 4 people including starters, trout as a second course and lamb and veal as a main dish and a delicious desert to finish off. The portions were big so we couldn't finish it all, but the tastes were all good. Definitely worth driving to if you're staying in Dubrovnik (about a 30-45 minute drive) if you want something different from the Croatian calamari!

We visited Wine gallery Vukoje with friends for dinner. Whole experience is just amazing, cellar tour , architecture of building , view from roof top.. Food is prepared in modern style with excellent ingredients and can be paired with wines which are locally produced. Excellent value for money - will be back soon. If you are in the area do not miss it!!!

So glad we took the time while visiting the area to book dinner at Vukoje! The setting is amazing as we first enjoyed drinks in the top floor terrace soaking in the sunset, followed by dinner in the restaurant; must say the service was outstanding, very friendly and personal. Our waiter made sure we were well looked after! The menu had a wonderful variety of choices and each of our group of 6 ordered something different and we all found our meals delicious, so tasty! We also had a couple bottles of wine, again very flavorful. Highly recommend making this a stop while in the area. A look lovely experience!

Read about it. Tried to book a table thru internet, but no luck. But the staff in Hotel Platini in Trebinje helped us out. Transported up there with a local great taxidriver, you where received like a Royal. Three of the staff made us welcome by the entrance.
First a tour down i the Wine-cellars, told the story of Vukojes idea of making wine.
Highly intresting. So we took the stairs, 5 or six stocks up into the restaurant. Lovely, breaftaking ineriour. We where also alowed to take a tour on top on the terraces. All with a wonderful view over Trebinje Valley. Amazing.
We started with a winetasting of two white wines, Chadonnay an Zilavka Selektion.. Both very good, but the Zilavka came out fore me as a top score.
We where presented fore a wide, wonder of a Menu. And deceided to start out with a trout dish with the Zilavka as follower. And later meatdish followed with two wines, Cab. S. blend and a Vranac red selektion. The last decanted.
Both courses where very good. And the wines superb.
Service where on top. Good knowledge, accurate and oberservant vaitors.
The hole seance was a very good experiense. - Only one thing was not pleasant, and has to be teken care of.- Our neibour table and its guest continued smoking thru the hole meal. Not a pleasant situation together with a good meal.
So in member of this you earn one ponit less. Even how - a very good experience.
We also got with us 6 bottles of beatiful wines to Norway.

Tasted several wines in the restaurant (pay by the glass) and then bought the ones we liked the best in the shop as you enter. Did not do the offered cellar tour unfortunately due to time constraints. Loved the wine barrel entrance!!!

Fabulous wines and amazing tour from Mladen who works in Vukoje Cellars. They are also owners of Vukoje restaurant where you can try Herzegovian slow food with Vukoje wines for a completely normal price. Be sure to try their best wine, Vukoje Vranac Reserva. All the best!

This was so good!! It’s a beautiful modern building, with a nice rooftop (only to drink) and an outside terrace with a wonderfull view on their wineyard. We ate very good, the wine was also good we bought a few bottles after to take with us! The server explained everything (wine, food, where everything is from) After we talked with the wife of the owner, she was so nice and really lovely person! I really recommend this place. Price is good, a little more expensiver than other places in Bosnia but for what they serve its not expensive at all! We were really happy!

We called here for some tapas and wine at lunchtime and it was a beautiful day and we were able to sit out on terrace .The wines here are fantastic and there is a great selection to pick from .The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful.
When we had finished our tapas and wine we were given a guided tour of the cellers beneath the restaurant .We also were able to buy some of the excellent wines .
