My wife and I had unforgettable experience in the Bolivian amazon with a 2N, 3D Max Jungle tours. From the start, communication was prompt and easy via whatsapp. On arrival to the Max Jungle office in Rurrenabaque, Theresa (the owner) was most helpful, alleviating any concerns, outlining the 3 day schedule as well as providing us with free water. Our tour guide (Choco) was most helpful, spoke very good English and had an outstanding appreciation for all the flora and fauna of the jungle, often stopping to give explanations about the history of medicinal benefits of the plants and how locals utilized them. Throughout the 3 days, we did a number of hikes in the jungle, including a night walk which was pretty scary! Choco had an incredible ability to recognize animals just by their stopping to listen. We had the opportunity to go fishing which was a highlight, as well as rafting. The accommodation in the Jungle can cater to 46 people but we were the only 2 people there. The cabins are INCREDIBLE. Built around enormous tree trunks, they are spacious, with a king size bed, private bathroom, working toilet, cold showers (but that’s fine coz it’s so hot), and a beautiful view of the jungle. The food was FIRST CLASS. The chef provided tasty and generous home made meals with a wide range of fresh fruit, soups, desserts, coffee and tea. We even ate the fish we caught earlier in the day! Would highly recommend- well done to Teresa and the team for a first class tour.

After speaking with various tour operators, we decided to go with Max Jungle, and it turned out to be one of the best trips of my life. They have built various custom log cabins, all out of the natural resources found in the area, which are extremely beautiful and tranquil. We had a fantastic tour guide who took us on some incredible activities, including a night walk in the jungle where we saw deers, snakes, and other animals. We also built a raft out of logs and rode it down the river. Teresa went above and beyond as a host and helped us with every part of the journey. I can't recommend them enough!

We had Orlando guide us around - he was awesome, always excitable and enthusiastic. The jungle is not the place to go if you want to see lots of animals in a short period of time - we had come from the Pantanal before this and so it seemed relatively barren. However the vegetation was awesome. I can't overemphasise how amazing the cabins were - huge comfy beds with your own bathroom. You wake up to the sounds of the jungle around you. Food was decent too. Deffo recommend this company for a jungle tour!

We went for the jungle tour is 3 days and 2 nights and had an awesome time. Cabins are amazing with own shower and toilet and a massive bed. You are living in a cabin build around a tree. The whole cabin is protected from moscitos with nets. We had the guid named Orlando who was awesome. Lot of knowledge about the jungle and a great guy to have fun with and he has some great stories to tell at the campfire. The other people over there are really nice as well. People at the office are really helpful and you can leave baggage over there with your own lock. Food is a buffet and really good. More than enough for everybody and also enough water.

You pay what you get. In this case you pay a little bit more but you get a lot: food, accommodation, and experiences. You can hear the sound of nature and animals all around you, hike, do rafting, fishing, “jewellery”, or just chill.
