We had a great 3D/2N pampas tour with our guide Alex. He is so friendly, fun and especially knowledgeable about the animals and people that inhabit the jungle. The food was also very well taken care off (we were with 2 carnivores and 2 vegetarians, and both had so much choice) and the rooms (private matrimonials) were clean and nice. Indigena Tours also personalized our pampas itinerary and booked our flight tickets without any additional costs. Cannot recommend this organisation enough!

The tour itself and the guide was great, we saw some amazing wildlife and one of the most beautiful sunsets! The accommodation itself is rather old and we didn’t really feel comfortable there. The food from the chef in the lodge was great tho!

We had guide Victor - we do not recommend him! The van ride took around 3 hrs from ruranebaque to the river this was very bumpy and often got stuck in the mud a few times - we then took a 2hr boat ride to the accomodation - along the way we could see many caman (crocodiles), pink river dolphin heads appearing in the water, turtles in and outside the water and many different birds - the food was good with soup, meat, salads, potatoes each meal - you need to take clothing to cover your skin from the mosquitos they are bigger and relentless, use mosquitos repellent along with baggy white if possible clothing (mosquitos bite through tight clothing) - it made our time miserable with all out mozzi bites - interventions such as a smoke bucket was needed but not provided even when asked, especially, during the prihanna fishing we caught 1x catfish but no prirhana fish - we went anaconda hunting but we had no luck and did not see - Guide Victor was unhelpful, unenthusiastic and miserable - he did the bare minimum and even got us carrying his things.

I booked a 3 days Pampas tour with Indigena as I had read so many good reviews about them. Unfortunately the tour didn't go ahead due to low season ( I was the only one booked in for that tour) so they organized for me to go with another similar tour operator. It would have been a good tour but the guide we had failed in his role completely. I complained to Chris at Indigena after my tour and he was very understanding and willing to investigate what had happened in order to make things right. He and Indigena in general dealt with the issue very professionally though the guide in question wasn't even one of theirs. This is why I want to recommend Indigena as they provide excellent customer service and are reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to book through them again.

If you wanna go on a pampas tour, go with this company! We went on a two day tour and it was amazing!
The first day we had Antonio as our guid and I cant even recommen him high enogh.
He was very calm and spotted all the animals and told us about them. He stoped with the boat so we could look at the animals and take pictures. We even joked about him being an animal whisperer because he had this way that it allmost seemed like he could talk to the animals.

The lodge was okey (its in the jungle people dont expect it to be like home) and the food was very good!
We fished for piranjas and then had them for dinner.

We went in a small group which was very nice, past other companies that had really crowded boats.
All the guids were local and spoke english.
All the guids were really careful not to disturb the nature and didnt feed the animals.

It is truly worth every penny! Im going to go back some day during rainy season and would defenitly go with this company again!

Also thanks to Christian who hooked us up with the trip and Choko that took us back day two. You are stars!

After reading lots of reviews of different companies me and my friend decided to choose Indigena Tours. We had an amazing 3-day tour with our fantastic guide Antonio (reviews where right, he is great!). He got us first to a lot of places before other tourgroups arrived. The accomodation was good with a nice spot for hammocks (almost musquito free). The food was also very good, so overall a great experience!

I did the pampas tour and had an awesome time. The place we stayed was beautiful in the middle of the pampas with all the animals next to you. The guide made sure we arrived at all the beautiful spots before the other tours arrived. When we left I forgot my sunglasses and they send them to La paz for me.
Overall a very good organisation!

5/5 for this great experience. My girlfriend and I booked the three days pampas tour with Indigena. Due to a bus delay, the two of us were the only one to have arrived on time for the tour. Fortunately, Indigena made sure that the tour would continue, meaning that we got a private tour for three days!

It seems that the three day program is more or less the same with every company, however our guide Antonio definitely made the difference. With 17 years of experience he easily spots and recognizes the different animal species and he will teach you everything about the animals, combined with a good dose of humour. Also, the cook was amazing and every meal was totally different, though very tasty.

Indeed, it is possible that a tiny frog ends up in the bathroom, but hey, you are in the center of animal territory. It makes the experience. The guide will make sure that the tour is totally safe and nothing bad will happen.

We got in contact with the agency through whatsapp, and they answered any questions about the tour and also sent pictures. We ended up booking the 2 night 3 days tour in the office when we arrived. They told us we were going with 5 other people, but turns out it was all made up, and there was only two more. The other couple payed about 1/3 less then we did, and we booked almost at the same time. When we arrived at the lodge, we got assigned to a private cabin with bathroom (which we payed for), and the guide told us we had to keep it a secret, turns out they also told that to the other couple about the price and everything. The cabin was ok, but not what we expected and did not look at all like the pictures they sent. The toilet in the cabin had a lot of frogs in it, jumping all over. We had a difficult time using the toilet, which made our stay really bad. At night there was a lot of bugs in the cabin, like spiders, cochroaches, beetles and also frogs. The floors and roof seemed really open and had a lot of cracks. The guide Victor was amazing though, he tried helping us as much as he could. When we got back we complained to Christian at the agency, but they were not very helpful. We got some of our money back, but not even close to what we wanted. Overall not a good tour, would choose a different agency.

INDIGENA TOURS regrets this kind of comments, whose sole purpose is to damage the image of the company. In our records, we ONLY have CLAIMS for our COMBINED TOURS (pampa / selva), due to the change of MANAGEMENT of the community company with which we work in the park MADIDI (jungle). No customer who made the pampas tour with INDIGENA TOURS has made a complaint. Anyway, we ask you to send us the date of the tour and respective names to indigenaecologico6@hotmail.com

We booked onto a 3 day Pampas tour with Indigena from an office in La Paz. We had an incredible time and saw all of the animals we were hoping to, with the highlight being swimming with the pink dolphins. Our guide Antonio was super knowledgeable, friendly and always keen to base our activities around what the group were interested in/wanted to do. His English was excellent and he took time to get to know the group.
The food was also an excellent standard, plenty of food for everyone with lots of choice and always plenty of food left over.
Highly recommend this tour.
