About
Kiri Adventures is a new kind of tour operator, the social kind. We're lean, eco-friendly, locally run, and giving back to our community and guests is our priority. Albania is an amazing place, but it’s far from perfect. Over here at Kiri Adventures, we operate under the belief that travel is an exchange, not a commodity. When you do an activity with us, you’re giving back as much – if not more – than what you take away, often in ways you’d never expect.

We did a walking tour of Shkoder with this American girl (can't remember her name) - but she was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable of the region and it's history (she speaks Albanian too, which helps). I love walking tours, and this was no exception. I learned a lot and would recommend to anyone visiting Shkoder. Good job guys!

Kiri adventures provides great tours and lots of helpful information for tourists. They have a great juice bar as well.

We found them online and participated in their walking tour, castle tour and bike tour. All were very enjoyable with so much information that we felt we had a much better understanding of the country and the region. I would recommend visiting these guys and taking part in their activities.

We booked a bike tour around Shkoder Lake it was amazing. Erjon was super helpful, friendly and a wonderful tour guide. The tour lasted about 3 hours. It begain in front of Erjon's juice bar called Shega e Eger. Erjon helped navigate biking through the city streets and then up towards Shkoder Lake. He even bought my boyfriend and I some ice cream when we reached the tapestry part of the tour - so nice! After we came back, Erjon was nice enough to sit with us at his juice bar as we drank some beverages to cool off (and had a wonderful bruschetta dish). This tour was a highlight of our trip to Albania and we would 100% recommend it.

Personable and knowledgeable guide, with awesome sunset views. Really enjoyed it.

Hair raising cycle ride to the castle in the self proclaimed ´city of bikes´ (they should provide helmets and bike lights really!! nevertheless, the local drivers are respectful of cyclists it would seem). I would also have appreciated a little more time to appreciate the sunset, as much as I was interested in the history.

It would be hard not to give a 5* review for enthusiasm and knowledge alone. Recommended! :)

So this is just 10/10 for my taste: native English speaker, all the basic info I need to understand things and then very open to all kinds of questions. So the tour also depends on you, and how much you want to know and whst interests you. Semi personal questions "what it's like for you to live here" style were also answered, very very open and friendly.
For us it was judt what we wanted. Thank you very much!
I also recommend stopping at their juice bar, having a bruschette at the end of the tour. Affordable, simple, informative. <3

There are so many options available from Kiri Adventures! The free walking tour is a must as it allows you to see all the important sights in the area and ask as many questions as you like! There are additional tours offered by Eri such as hiking tours, kayaking tours, and a night castle tour. Eri owns a Juice Bar Cafe in Shkoder, one of kind type of cafe in the city! There are great options for fresh squeezed juices, coffees, small plates, cocktails, beers, and, of course, free WIFI! Would definitely recommend checking out the website kiriadventures.al!

We did the tour of Rozafa castle with Erjon, and it probably was the most informative tour we got on our trip. The castle is shock full of historical details, and you could find out about every single one of them by asking him. He also went out of his way to organise for us to get a lift to a river where we could go swimming in a small natural canyon and have a look at ura e mesit, even though that tour wasn't actually on offer while we were there. In general, he is one of the most helpful and friendly people we met on our trip. We're looking forward to doing a longer hiking trip with him the next time.

We started exploring Albania from Shkoder and were lucky to meet Erjon from Kiri Adventures. Our tour was a combination of two different tours and took us to Rozafa Castle, Shkodra Lake and villa of the last king of Albania. It was made by car, since the weather was too hot for taking a bike. Duration was about 5 hours incl. opportunity to swim in the lake and a nice lunch in one of the villages by the lake.

Erjon's passion for history makes him a great guide and he's always ready to have a conversation about Albanian history, society, politics or any other interesting topic. He has travelled a lot and is also very interested in others -- so be ready to tell him something about your own country! Erjon makes you feel as a friend instead of a customer :)

So take with you a bottle of water, some sun lotion and a swimsuit and have a great day with this warm-hearted Albanian guy! We can't wait to come back and try some others tours as well (for example the beekeeping tour!)

I learned a lot about the city of Shkoder during this historical tour. The chronology of the history was really good. I will also recommend it to my friends
