This is the Orthodox Cathedral in the Region of Shkodra and is one of the best in Albania. This serves as a prayer land for Orthodox population in the Region of Shkodra.

Had a long conversation with the priest about religion, politics and coexistence. This church had been destroyed twice for different and equally absurd reasons. Free entry but a donation for the children is welcome. Well worth 30 minutes of your time.

We stumbled upon this church completely by accident after a wrong turn. Needless to say, it was a pleasant surprise. This is one of the best looking pieces of architecture in all of Shkoder. I would highly recommend a visit.
