This is a beautiful stroll along the Saranda Seafront spoiled by beggars, crazy people on electric scooter, bikes and motor cycles in the midst of thousands of people. What are they thinking? There is no control or management at all and random people are selling every thing from grilled corn to stupid children's toys. Worse of all are the tourist boats tied up there. They blast mussic so loud that you have to practically run past them holding your ears. It's unbearable and I can't imagine sitting in any of the more than 50 cafes along the embankment. It truly is well done and worth seeing early in the morning before all the crazies show up.

Cement, Cement and more Cement.
The bay is beautiful, the people a little less so, the tale of low prices is only valid for a few taverns, then they ask you 10 euros to park for a few hours or 25 euros for two rickety sunbeds and an umbrella.
The rest costs the same as in Italy, at least in August, and considering the average local income of around 500 euros per month, everything is just speculation.
If they continue like this .............

The whole town of Saranda is ugly, with tower blocks that pile up to the seafront. But I already knew this before leaving. But then came the worst: total chaos everywhere, rampant and absolutely disorganized tourism, services reduced to a minimum, third world buses, impossible traffic with local cars whizzing and roaring, a continuous festival of kitsch and arrogance, lack of consideration for those who bring money there, policy of "as soon as I can, I'll fuck you". The beaches (from Ksamil to those accessible only by boat) would also be beautiful if it weren't for everything I said above: for example, the "wild" beach of Krorezes offers neither peace nor services, only the oil of the countless moored boats, including fancy pirate ships with loud music.
Maybe I should have come there years ago, when it wasn't such an overcrowded destination and was still off the beaten track: it certainly offered even less but without the invasion of the indigenous and foreign hordes, and at low prices: now the costs have almost equaled those of the very nearby and splendid Corfu. Except only a few restaurants. Indeed only one in Saranda (Marini, excellent), the others were outside.
Never again.... don't go there: any place in Italy is better. I am Pugliese: I spent more than I spent in past years in Puglia. And, allow me, Puglia is Puglia...

HORRIBLE, a jumble of buildings on the sea, everything is built to pluck chickens. Room prices have only doubled in the last year and almost quadrupled in the last 3-4. You spend much less going to Sardinia or Puglia, with a sea and decidedly different treatments. A real disappointment. You do not come

A vomiting place! A concreted bay, with a small strip of sand. If you want to go to the seaside you have to move at least 10 km. They don't even know what cleanliness is, they only think about making money and you hear the locals who feel like they can earn money, are breathing down your neck and growling like a wolf when they see blood. If you save something it's only because they offer you poor quality services that aren't even worth what you pay for. All seasoned with a nauseating smell of garbage and people whizzing by at 200 mph in luxury cars believing they became masters of the world the moment they bought them. Half an hour of parking 10 euros! And I won't say anything else. I wonder how some people say they save money. And I wonder how they can say this is a beautiful vacation spot... They've probably never seen anything else

Big disappointment that joins the comments on mass tourism, polution, customer head scam and so on... I also draw the attention of travellers to the animal abuser. Dogs are abandoned. Sadness shows abound. I am deeply disappointed at such actions.

We came over from Corfu for a few days and were simply shocked. We had previously seen some reports about Saranda and heard how incredibly cheap and nice everything was. The exact opposite was the case! Everything was far too expensive for poor quality. If you're not careful you'll get ripped off and there's no friendliness. The whole thing has no style and no charm. We returned to beautiful Corfu sooner and were so happy to forget these experiences as quickly as possible.

Dirty dump with cracked pavements and trip hazards everywhere. Bars and restaurants charging silly prices for the balkans and everybody trying to exploit you. Couldn’t wait to leave. I have been to every country in the Balkans and Albania is my least favourite.

Worst holiday ever (not for the company but for half of it).
Absolutely disappointing across the board, as a couple 9 days 2700 euros to look forward to leaving....with the same amount we could have easily gone to Sardinia.
Save yourselves, you still have time!
I hope to remove the memory as soon as possible.

I was expecting big things of Saranda, but to be honest, it needs development to even be a mediocre place!
I walked of the ship and within 200 yards I was at the top of the steps down the the Promenade, only to be confronted by my first beggar, and then all along the Promenade there must have been 20 more, plus young children, who could say "Money please"
There are very little shops, and on reflection a tour to the Blue eye or even other historical sites would have been much better.

Подскажите как лучше добраться из Будвы или Дубровника в Саранду?
Written May 29, 2019
Здравствуйте!
Из Будвы можно добраться на автобусе до Шкодера или Тираны и оттуда на автобусе в Саранду. К сожалению другого общественного транспорта пока нет. Также можно заказать трансфер.
