Fantastic services from all the staff at Finikas Lines. From the moment we arrived at check in to the second we departed. Great social distancing measures in place at the port and onboard. 100% recommend sailing with Finikas Lines and will be booking again in the near future. Thank you 😀

Finicas Lines is my and my girlfriend favourite travel agency! Everytime while we are in Saranda we use their services. We highly recommend to rent Suzuki Jimny and travel 4x4 through Albanian mountains. We also had a trip to Corfu by their Flying Dolphin and it was such a great experience. Very nice service and people :)

As a tour leader I have passed by Saranda, Albania many times with groups of travelers. Every group is different and the Finikas team has always helped me find the perfect activity for me and my groups, organizing pick ups, excursions, transfers to the ferry line and more.
Also our ferry rides to Corfu have run smoothly, very accommodating to changes and helping to solve any problem when needed.
I loved how with every trip I've discovered a new place around Saranda.

Unlike these other recent reviews we certainly didn't get the great customer service that others did on their trips, including the woman in the office being rolling her eyes at me, and us and many others not being allowed through the Greek border due to an error by her.
I bought a couple of tickets for the fast boat to Corfu a month or so in advance. I received an email with proof of the payment going to Finikas Lines but no email with tickets. I emailed the company 3 times to query if they would be sent later or if we just picked them up in the office but never got a reply (found out at the office that other people HAD been sent their tickets).
The day before we checked the website to confirm the boat time, then on the morning we got to the office with plenty of time to sort out the tickets before our boat ride (we thought) along with having our PLF filled and ready. I told the woman at the desk that we'd bought tickets and showed her my proof of purchase. She seemed disgruntled that I didn't have my tickets ready, though they hadn't sent them. She asked for our PLF then told us it was wrong and we had to do another one, and that we were going by bus and not boat (at no point had anyone told us that the boat was cancelled). Naturally I queried if 'bus' was correct as she hadn't told us about how we were getting to Corfu. She just kept rolling her eyes at me and shooing us on and moved onto someone else.
We filled another PLF which wouldn't allow us to save as we'd already logged one, but the mobile site wouldn't give the option to edit the original so us and many others were then stuck without having a correct PLF. (Obviously the website for this is not the fault of Finikas, but if they'd told any of their customers in advance or even posted on their website about the boat cancellations this could have been accurate from the start).
The woman copied everyone's passports to sort the PLFs on the computer and sent us all on the coach to the border. Once there the driver gave us all updated PLFs. None of the information was correct anymore. I had been put on a PLF with 2 random Brits, and my partner (along with many others) received his back with a completely different entry date so we weren't allowed over the Greek border.
We were stuck there for about an hour or so, and when I got in touch with the lady at FL through the drivers phone she didn't seem interested in sorting out the mess she'd made.
Anyway, in the end what was meant to be a 30min jounrey took us 7hours, and cost us even more money as we then still had to pay for extra for our crossing. Apparently some people missed their flights due to the extra time spent at the border.
Finikas Lines need to have more than 1 staff member working in the office at times of departure, and need to communicate ANYTHING to their customers. In checking their social media after our journey they were still posting about their boat crossing and not responding to any comments about the boat cancellations.
In future I would try and use another company before I had to give my money to these again.

When we asked about the prices for Albania, we were informed that the ticket value for going and returning from Albania would cost us 40 euros (with the dolphin). When we went 3 days later to buy the tickets we payed 47 euros!!!! It's not big deal to give 7 euros more... But I think that they don't really know what they say to people and why.....Maybe they did it on purpose to be seemed more cheap because the office right next asks only 34 euros for the same trip.Next time we will chose them.

Nice boat - toilet facilities available. Efficient and smooth crossing.
Bus was OK, and driver was vigilant in checking numbers - but was 25 minutes late picking us up, which made me unsure as to whether I was waiting at the correct location.

WARNING! They’re quick in taking your money, but after that they’re not interested in you at all. Be careful when dealing with this company. Especially in case you run into unforeseen issues. Turns out that there are still companies out there who don’t care about their customers and run their monopoly business like in the 80’s. Finikas Lines does exactly that! How? We had 2 big problems when travelling with them back and forth from Corfu to Sarandë (Albania): 1. We accidentally chose the wrong ferry when booking online which was totally our own mix up in times. BUT Finikas Lines doesn’t want to help you at all of this happens. They already have your money and you don’t have a choice but spending more as there is no alternative. As we live in Amsterdam we booked online, but you can’t change the ferry online too, which is ridiculous in 2022!!! We called them to try change the ferry and a rude Greek ‘manager’ told us to come to their office somewhere on Corfu to change the ticket. Which was obviously impossible as we arrived by air with a very short time actually on Corfu as we had to be in time in Albania at our destination. People can’t just search on an unknown island for a company’s office for something like this when they’re travelling. We ended up paying €50 again for the fare as Finikas Lines wasn’t interested in finding a solution for us. 2) On our return journey we had booked the 7am fast ferry departing Sarandë. Fortunately we decided to be at the ferry terminal early at 6.20am as on arrival we were repeatedly asked for our tickets and then told that we would be going on the slow ferry that was departing at that moment and rushed onto that one even though we had paid for the fast ferry. The fast ferry takes only 30min instead of 70-80mins and is also more expensive. We were told that the fast ferry had broken down. But Finikas Lines lied to us as in the Sarandë terminal on all the departures time tables we saw there wasn’t a 7am ferry mentioned. Also the worst thing was when we saw the fast ferry KRISTI that apparently had broken down going into the other direction towards Albania half-way our slow journey towards Corfu. What a joke!
And WHEN was Finikas Lines going to tell us about this change? They didn’t and never were going to even though they had our email address! If we hadn’t showed up very early ourselves we would have missed our flight in Corfu. Obviously nobody of Finikas Lines said sorry for a problem they created. We had to walk 20 mins in Corfu with our luggage to demand at their sales office that they refund us the price difference. Still no sorry offered. The sales attendant even said that they never had a 7am service whilst looking at our tickets with exactly that time mentioned. How is it possible for a company to run their business like that?! The answer is: they run a monopoly on that line and they know it. Be warned and be careful with your money when dealing with Finikas Lines. If you run into problems, also the ones they created don’t expect them to care about customer satisfaction. They just want your money with their maffia-like business.

We were very happy that we trusted our trip to Finikas Lines. From the beginning to the end everything went as smooth as it gets. The staff was eager to help us at any moment with every piece of information needed, and the trip was really good. We would suggest anyone to trust Finikas for their trips and we would choose it again next time we would be in Saranda,Albania.

We've visited Saranda last summer and were lucky to find a local expert that helped us to do the most in such a short time. Panorea suggested activities and places to visit. Since we only had a few days to spend there she made a plan, suggested various options according to our needs and budget, and even calculated the time for the last day so we can still make the most out of it without being worried about getting back on time for the ferry ride to Corfu (which she also took care for us).
Great professionalism and clear communication.
Thanks a lot, Panorea!

You can buy a ticket at finikas lines directly. I can't include the website links, that's not allowed. Between finikas and lines must be a - and after the dot you write com. Hopefully I've helped you.
