This shrine should be far better to visit in spring. Bus from the Hirosaki station is not very frequent and the shrine closes @4 pm according to the tourist information. If you just pray and explore a bit, whole stay needs 40mins probably. Hope to...More

We walked from the entrance to the shrine. It has many trees and of course a lovely view of Mt. Iwaki.

We came upon this shrine as part of our tour of Hirosaki Park, on our way out of the park. It was slightly different from the other Shinto shrines we have seen along the way in terms of its colour and simplicity.
