Ise jingu Naiku is the most sacred shrine in Japan. Many people even prime minister, emperor and VIP come and pray. It is said that emperor's ancestor is worshiped. Please note that this English words may not be correct.

I'd suggest wearing casual clothes that don't reveal much of the body. And not too short. Enjoy your time there!
