We came here on foot in one of the hottest day of the year. It was impossible to not enjoy the sea and walk in the water. The temperature was also perfect. I loved it.

The electric train takes you along the coast. Get off and experience as many stops as you can. Christened the new wetsuit , had a great swim. Town is filled with lovely beautiful people and great little restaurants. Fabulous day !!

This is the best spot for sunset in Kamakura and on a clear day to see Ft Fuji. You can swim here, but the next beach over is better for swimming, though we took a dip.

When strolling around Kamakura, you really should make your way down to the beach. The early morning is one of the best times, with only a few tourists and mainly the fishermen bringing in their catch. You can "frolic" in the waves if you want....More

Near Tokyo with easy access if by train. It is less crowded than the one near Enoshima, but with excellent view of Enoshima Island. When visiting, do not expect white sand and clear water.

It is a famous beach but it is not suitable to play on it for children. It is more for the surfers. The thing to do is to go to restaurant along the coast and enjoy the view.

Nice beach, some surfing, waves are small to medium. Very windy, be sure to bring a jumper. Nice cafe near by the beach, also there's a 7-11 if one needs to change or use the washroom.

This is not a great beach (if comparing to Australia or the Caribbean). But it's a nice beach to take a walk on. Very wide - sand is hard packed so easy to walk on. Nice bay type views. You get another view / experience...More

We did the classical tour around Japan and wanted to check some beachy places. It was autumn and was very windy, but you can see some surfers hanging around. I guess summer would be quite crowdy. Anyway, if around, some to check it out!

Lots of visitors through out the year to enjoy beautiful sceneries. Do enjoy during sun rise or sun set time.
