温泉関連ひとつで図書館が出来上がるというだけでも凄い事なのに、ここに所蔵される書物をパラパラと読むと、結構興味深い記事が多いことにまたまたビックリしました。

いい意味で、「期待外れ」です。

バスターミナルの時間待ちの人が閲覧していた

町立温泉図書館と言っても温泉ばかりの図書館ではない。町民のための図書館であった。温泉街散策のついでに立ち寄るとバスターミナルの時間待ちの人が時間つぶしに閲覧していたのが印象的だ。

草津バスターミナル内にある施設です。

草津エリア観光時に立ち寄り。草津バスターミナル内にあり、図書館と併設された草津温泉の歴史資料が揃う施設です。バス待ちの時間調整で立ち寄る方が多い雰囲気でしたが、湯畑エリアの観光客の喧騒から離れ、静かでゆっくりできるスポットです。

リゾートの大切な書斎です

来館者のニーズに合わせ通常閲覧席、
高いチェアエリア、ソファーエリア、
ついたて＆PC用電源完備の集中作業エリアには感激。
図書館ツウの観点で見てもかなりハイレベル。

図書館でしか集中できないタチなので、
横浜から2日間勉強するために70歳がやってきましたよ。
結果、保育士試験合格。
19時くらいまで開館してくれるならベスト私がボランティア職員やりますよ。

草津温泉のバスターミナルにあります。規模はそんなに大きくなく、本もたくさんあるわけではありませんが、草津温泉の資料を見ることができます。簡単な草津温泉の歴史等を知ることができますので、バスで来て時間があったら寄ってみてもいいかもしれません。

草津温泉のバスターミナル3階にあります。図書館と温泉資料館が一緒になっていて、観光客も利用可能です。9時から17時まで開館で月曜日は休館。バスターミナルは1階が観光案内所になっています。食堂もはいっています。

史料館併設です”草津町立温泉図書館”

草津温泉の歴史を表現している史料館もある普通の図書館です。観光で本を借りることはないと思いますが史料館：史料コーナーを見るだけでも面白いと思います。
