Not good skiing
Jan 2020 • Family
This used to be one of my favorite places, but a volcano erupted a few years ago near the top of the mountain and ever since, only the middle and bottom areas are open (the best part of the mountain is closed). If you are a beginner or with a young family, it is good. It is terrible for snow boarders and advances skiers as most places are flat and the good runs are very short.

An excellent place to ski and snowboard
Jan 2019 • Couples
The ski slopes include various types of terrain and difficulty level - great for skiers including people with a long break in their winter sport training. The lifts take you to different places going over trees and bushes covered with sparkling snow. You can smell the natural hot springs in the distance. The best is the end of the day - around four in the afternoon when you get to enjoy the sunset while skiing.

If you booked a night at Kusatsu you may come to this place for ski, this is not a big station but walking distance from the hotel or town center (maybe 30 mins), even if you don't ski, there are canteen you can enjoy a lunch.

Didnt get to see snow, but luckily the management has artificial snow on the lower part of the park

It seems like a beautiful place for kids and adults but when i arrive in Dec there is no snow there. However there is artifical snow done by the management. During this time there is some fund things for kids to play onsite though nothing much for adults except if u wana ski in artificial snow.
Will visit again when there is snow
