Shimonoseki is very famous for blow fish as a eatery(Fugu). On the street, everywhere you can meet Swell fish(blwo fish) manhole covers. There are black and white or blue color ones too. Very cute. But I didn't know there is the biggest statue of that...More

Seems the Akama Shrine will be more visited than this Kameyama Hachimangu due to the landmark gate door. However, this shrine here offers a great view of the Kanmon Channel and host a big bronze pufferfish statue.
