まるで沖縄の海のように素敵な海です。

角島のほぼど真ん中に位置するビーチ。
フレッシュしおかぜの里というお土産、お食事処の駐車場のすぐ目の前にあり、県道276号を渡るとすぐビーチです。

白い砂浜とエメラルドグリーンの海の美しい海岸でした。

角島を移動中、綺麗なビーチを見つけたので訪れました。ビーチが白砂で一つ一つの砂が細かく、沖縄(特に宮古島)のビーチを思い出しました。夏には海水浴もできるみたいです。規模は小さいですが、島時間を楽しむには丁度良い場所だと思います。

南の島の砂のように真っ白でサラサラでした

　東西にやや細長い形をしている角島の、ほぼ中央あたりの北側の海岸が、しおかぜコバルトブルービーチです。
　私たちが訪れた日はあいにくの曇り空で、残念ながら「コバルトブルー」の空と海ではありませんでした。でも、ビーチの砂は真っ白で、サラサラなんです。まるで南の島のビーチの砂なんです。青空の下ではさらに美しいと思います。

角島のビーチ

8月に角島に行った時に立ち寄りました。綺麗なビーチでした。多くの人が海水浴を楽しんでいました。今回は、時間の都合で見学だけです。次回はゆっくりと海水浴等を楽しみたいビーチです。海の色は天気に大きく作用されるようです。天気を見て行かれることをお勧め致します。

しおかぜの里の駐車場から道路を渡る

しおかぜの里の駐車場から道路を渡るとのこのビーチです。冬場で曇り空でしたが、それでも海のコバルトブルーの色はわかりました。しおかぜの里は角島では数少ない大きめの食事のできる場所だからか、冬の曇天でもそれなりに人が来ていましたので、夏は混雑しているのだろうなと想像しました。

１月下旬に訪れました。コバルトブルーの海、は見られたものの、日本海の冬の荒々しさか波が結構高く、ここが日本海なんだなぁっと再認識させられました。

海水浴に来たい。

しおかぜの里角島で休憩ついでにビーチへ。行った日は日本海とは思えない穏やかな波でした。間違いなく夏場は海水浴客が多いでしょう。意外ときれいでした。

角島大橋を渡って灯台まで行く途中、右側にきれいな砂浜が広がっていました。晴れた日だったので、コバルトブルーの名前の通り、きれいな海です。4月でしたがたくさんの観光客がいました。

残念ながら、コバルトブルーではなかった

　フレッシュしおかぜの里の向かい側に広がる海岸線です。訪れた時期はすでにシーズンが終わった9月で、しかも雨模様だったので、コバルトブルーの海ではありませんでした。しかし、島の周囲の海のきれいさを見ていると、コバルトブルーの海が想像でき、またここを訪れたいと思いました。

角島の大橋から灯台に向かう途中にある、まさにコバルトブルービーチ

　角島は、山口県なのに海は、なぜコバルトブルー？
　晴れた８月の末、平日なのに家族連れの海水浴客が、そこそこ。
大きな浜ではないが、浜は白砂。
福岡市、北九州市から１時間余でくることのできる別世界といえる角島とこのビーチ。
　しおかぜの里　角島直売所(海産物、土産物販売とレストラン）の大きな無料の駐車場の面前のビーチ。
　ただし、漁協管理の有料海水浴場です。　しかし、シャワーもあり、かえって
安心、安全でしょう。
なにより、コバルトブルーのきれいなビーチ。
