Stumbled upon Beechwood on our way from Sheboygan to Fond du Lac. We were met by friendliness, helpfulness, and lots of cheese! Ended up leaving with much more than we came in for and happy about all of it. Great service & lots of interesting cheeses.

This is a small town cheese factory. It is not hard to find, and was fun to see in operation. It is not a big modern factory, but educational nonetheless.

For years the first Saturday of the month has meant lines out the door for fresh cheese curds (squeaky cheese)...whether its the regular cheddar or dill mozzarella or seasoned cheddar they're all worth the wait. What is not to love about a good old local Wisconsin cheese factory. Stop in and pick up some gifts and some treats for yourself. Hopefully they have some fresh squeaky curds ready to go.

This is my favorite Wisconsin cheese. If you are going to stop in, don't get your expectations too high. The family makes money selling cheese not running tours or providing tastings.
