If you love waterfalls, this is a must see. I have visited 3 times, and the flow was moderate, to full, and roaring. It is fascinating to watch. During a summer visit, we could feel the air cool as we walked down to the river...More

This gorgeous waterfall is a short easy drive and quick hike right off the interstate. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The only negative you may find is once you get there you will probably find that you have stayed a lot longer than you intended! Well...More

There is a small parking area and a picnic shelter at the head of the trail. The hike is only 1/4 mile to the spectacular waterfall. Much of the trail is rocky, so good hiking shoes are a plus. You can see the falls from...More

This waterfall is without a doubt a West Virginia hidden gem. This is the largest waterfall in WV that most anyone you may talk to doesn’t know about. The second falls is also unique however is quite the treck to reach.

Read about this and wanted to check this out. It is a very nice park with lots of activities like camping, fishing, playgrounds, trails, waterfalls and so on. The creek water was down a bit, so the falls were not too strong when we were...More

It was a very cold December day when we went so we only walked to the first fall. It was beautiful even in the winter. I would highly recommend stopping to see it.

We stopped here on our way to Charleston. It is an easy 1/4 mile hike from the parking lot to the waterfalls. The final section to the water fall base is a little tougher, but very manageable for most people. A great spot to relax...More

I stopped on my way from Ohio to Charlotte and was pleasantly surprised by these falls. The drive from the highway is definitely harrowing, especially in the snow when the road hasn't been salted yet. Eads Mill Rd is a one-lane, unlined road that is...More

This was a very nice surprise. Traveling through coal country was a little depressing and we needed a little pick-me-up. Brush Creek Falls was the answer. Go in the morning as the lighting is much better for photos.. It is a real easy walk to...More
