We hiked to the end of the trail and then came back and played in the water at the bottom of the falls. It was beautiful. It was also not that far off the highway on our trip down hwy77 heading south for vacation. FYI There are no bathroom facilities anywhere near.

Beautiful day for a short hike. Sunny skies and 66°. The road getting here is VERY NARROW & CURVY. The path is rocky but not too slippery. It had just stormed so the falls were beautiful. As others stated, the 3rd path down to the falls is the least steep - it traverses back across the hill. Well with the short hike.

I have been here four times. Love it every time. As with any waterfall, it is more impressive after a big rain. However, it is always beautiful. No public bathroom anywhere here, so go to the bathroom BEFORE you go. Watch for interesting native wildflowers. Wear sturdy shoes. Bring a camera. Please don’t litter the trail. And if you can, pack out the litter left behind by others. This park is really just the parking area, trail, and falls. There isn’t any sort of picnic area. There used to be picnic tables until someone threw them in the creek.

Brush Creek Falls is an easy 1/2 mile or so hike along Brush Creek. Bring a picnic and enjoy the afternoon exploring the falls and the remains of an old lumber mill ~ some of the stone walls are still standing just down from the falls. You will hear the falls before you get to them. Make sure you pass the vertical "trail" down to the falls ~ in another 50 yards or so there is a much gentler trail to get you down the hill.

Beware of using your gps to find these falls! You will be taken up a mountain that requires a 4x4 and no room to turn around!
Go to the website and just follow the directions listed once you are off the interstate. Once we found the falls they were amazing and a fairly easy hike to get there.

I have been going to Brush Creek Falls ever since I guess probably the 9th grade back in the seventy's late sixties. It is a very beautiful place it also is a great place to swim. And it is true that if you will pass the first path and go to the second one, it is much much easier. It is a great place to take your dogs, especially if they like to swim also. And if you like diving off of waterfalls, it's a lot of fun for that too. I just suggest that you jump and not dive. Because the water is not that deep on the bottom of the falls. So please please be very careful.

This is where I jumped from the top of a waterfall for the first time...totally awsome!!!! I reccommend this place to anyone looking to add a little adventure in their life. Easy to find and beautiful scenary to just sit back relax and cool off in the water. You can also swim under the water fall.

We stopped here on our way to Charleston. It is an easy 1/4 mile hike from the parking lot to the waterfalls. The final section to the water fall base is a little tougher, but very manageable for most people. A great spot to relax for an hour and have a picnic. Only about 10 minutes off the highway - easy on and off.

This waterfall is without a doubt a West Virginia hidden gem. This is the largest waterfall in WV that most anyone you may talk to doesn’t know about. The second falls is also unique however is quite the treck to reach.

Read about this and wanted to check this out. It is a very nice park with lots of activities like camping, fishing, playgrounds, trails, waterfalls and so on. The creek water was down a bit, so the falls were not too strong when we were there, but still pretty! We did not make it to other falls.
