If you are in Anacortes, make this a priority. Either drive around the loop or better yet walk if time allows. Gorgeous view points!

You can drive this park or walk it. It has great trails all around it too. Great views from many locations and stop points. Not very hilly. A must see!

Washington Park is an oasis of natural beauty with its water vistas, picturesque island views, and wildlife. There are so many ways to appreciate all the offerings: walk a trail, drive the loop, perch on a bench, camp overnight, etc. It's a must-visit Anacortes gem!...More

We have a picnic at the Park once a month in the summer. Works well for large groups. Very nice facilities, large fire pit, bring your own wood. Playground equipment. At the boat ramp and salt water for swimming.

We loved the loop trail drive and stopped to hike in quiet woods and on sunny grassy hillsides. No fee for this great place to watch the sunset while viewing the San Juan Islands.
