We found a small sign that directed us thru a neighborhood up to this park. The view is excellent of Anacortes and the marina. On the other side you can see Hat Island as well as the Tesoro manufacturing plant. I enjoyed watching the boats come and go. We also saw an eagle! Be careful if you climb out onto... More

Visited here around sunset. You can climb out on the rocks and enjoy some views of Anacortes across the water. Especially enjoyed watching the Robins among the Manzanita trees enjoying the berries.

Its the highest point around and from here you can see Mt Baker/the Cascades, the marina with beautiful boats/yachts below and some of the islands near the Canadian/US border. You can walk on huge boulders or sit on benches.

Easy to get to and once there you get a great view of the harbor. Wonderful area for taking pictures.

This is a full half mile up 4th street. Fantastic views. Sunrise and sunset with a cup of coffee or something make it very special. Don't miss it. It's so close and so easy.

Breathtaking view. We went on a perfectly clear Friday afternoon and there were only a few people up there. And it's free!

Very short drive to a spectacular view. Sunset is extra special. If you are a serious bicyclist, you can get there on bicycle, but remember this is a high overlook and you are getting there from sea level. Most people will want to drive. It is 5 minutes from downtown Anacortes.

Great viewpoint of Mt Baker on one side and the town of Anacortes on the other. Also a view of the refinery which can be overlooked because of the beauty of everything else. No hiking necessary just drive up and view.

You can hike or drive. We drove right to the viewpoint. It's on big boulders you can climb around on. The views are fantastic. Mt. Baker is on one side and Anacortes is on the other. It is so easy to get to. Of the 3 parks we visited on our recent trip, we put this one as #1. (Washington... More
