Hard to believe your just 15 minutes out of town. Wasn't a crystal clear day but you could see a long ways in every direction. Each vista is a little different view. If you have an extra hour or so while in the Anacortes area put it on your Agenda.

This was a great day trip for our family to include my three year old grandson. The weather could not have been more perfect, so it was pretty crowded at the top. Absolutely gorgeous views and easy walks on the well-marked trails. The road up is steep and seems long although in reality it is only about 2 miles to... More

One overlook is a fantastic view of the bay. From another we could view Mt. Baker. We also saw our first bald eagle.

Parking at the top....view is awesome ..... panoramic. Also a very nice sculpture placed there, commissioned with funds donated by a grateful resident who had thoroughly enjoyed his life in this beautiful area.

This easily observed but little known mountain park was a pleasure through which to drive and enjoy some peaceful time at the few overlooks. I highly recommend visitors to visit this site and am thankful to Anacortes Parks & Recreation for their work to maintain this park. I recommend that they add and/or improve the maps and info placards posted... More

Breathtaking views are to be had from Mt. Erie Park. You can get a 360 view of the San Juans, Skagit Valley, and Fidalgo Island. If you are site seeing, you can't miss this stop! Hiking trails, great place to photograph the sunset and numerous lakes. Or just watch the rock climbers!

Good experience to have 360 view of city and bays surround the city. Also ability to look at different ecosystems. Long drive up steep winding hills so requires skillful driver.

It is an interesting drive to the top of Mount Erie but the views are worth your time. If you are in to hiking there are many trails on Mount Erie ... you can start from the bottom or from several places on the drive to the top.
