Ashburn's Starplex 11 is the best movie theater in Ashburn (and I have been to all of them). The seats are comfortable and allows you to recline and watch the movies in a totally relaxed mode; the snack bar area has a very nice selection of goodies; the adult bar is stocked nicely and the service is always good. Also, the bathrooms on both levels are clean and accessible. There are no bad seats in any of the theaters inside the Starplex (except maybe if you are seated directly in the front row). In sum, this is always my first choice for a theater now - and it's very kid friendly. I ONLY go to another one if the movie I want to see is not playing at Starplex.

Today's movies are just plain and simply great. Starplex has a great venue inside to see movies and enjoy them. The issue is the infrastructure is not in place for this venue so parking is a bear. if it's raining, you will sit in wet clothing. I wish the location had a better alternative for this but they are waiting on Metro to fill it out. Drop off in front are not the best as well around the traffic circle. You need to be careful.

Been to the theater twice now. First time was during the summer for a late showing of Incredibles 2, and by late I mean the last showing, so after 10pm, and there were young kids running around.
Recent visit was a few weeks ago for a showing of “A Star is Born.” The showing was good. The screen needs to be cleaned. The sound was decent, except for hearing Venom blaring next door. After the movie was over, heading to the lobby, the space is like an echo chamber when kids are running around downstairs and yelling.
It’s just not my favorite place to go for movies in the area.

Warning: AMC Loudoun Station will sell you tickets to a theater auditorium that they KNOW has distorted video issues (apparently has been an issue for some time). You won’t know until you show up. Since I purchased through ApplePay, they couldn’t simply refund me, they gave me a gift card. I just wanted my money back (bc I never want to go to this place again), and the Manager (completely unapologetic) told me to “call ApplePay”. Brilliant customer service. Go to Regal (brambleton) or Cobb in leesburg.

We've been here multiple times. This is absolutely the most comfortable theater I've ever been in. Chairs fully recline, screens are huge and crystal clear, sound is amazing. Prices are very reasonable, you can purchase tickets in advance on line as well. What's not to like?

Great seating and acoustics. Good senior pricing. Seats are all reserved. Buy on-line and scan without stopping at box office.

If not for the understaffed concessions and self serve ticketing I would award the full 5 stars.
Best price ($6.50)
Super comfortable reclining seating
Incredible sound (particularly in cinema 7 with ETX / IDX)
Best to buy online and select seats before arrival
Try not to take a nap : )

The movie theater was great when it used to be Starplex Luxury Cinemas. It offered two levels of refreshment services, gourmet popcorn that you could sample, and a lot of attentive staff. However it was bought out by AMC awhile ago ant the service isn't as personable. It's still a good movie theater and convenient location and parking.

When the Starplex first opened, I was very disappointed at the comfort of their seats. They decided for whatever reason to put in stiff, upright uncomfortable seats into their beautiful, brand new theatre. Somebody upstairs must have gotten the message, however, and shortly thereafter, they replaced the horrible seats with the most comfortable movie seats I have ever encountered. The reclining seats are perhaps too comfortable, as I often find myself falling asleep, even when really enjoying the movie that I am there to watch. Their lines are short (but growing!) and their prices can not be beat. It is a physically beautiful theatre with a very solid staff, and it is located in an up and coming area in Loudoun Station. Easily my favorite place to watch a movie.

So my great summer of movies has started all over again and this AMC theater is back to having films before noon (weekdays and on the weekend). They have amazing matinee prices (less than $5) and the comfy, plush, reclining seats. For the last couple weekends, I have been able to find the movies I wanted to see at a time that was perfect. My only complaint is that the theater only opens 15 minutes before the first show of the day. One of the weekends I went, I had to wait in my car for them to open and then rush in to get my ticket, use the restroom and find my seat. By the time I got settled the movie, the previews started. A little more time would be appreciated. I am just thankful I didn't have to wait in the concession line. Overall the staff is friendly, the facilities are clean and they have a good variety of movies and times. I will be here throughout the summer.
