Great park

Took our bikes out today and stumbled upon this park. We will be back with a picnic next time! Great place to enjoy a sunny afternoon.

I think the primary reason this park exists is to provide parking for people using the W&OD trail. However, there are several ball fields that get a lot of use too, a children's play area, and an outdoor in-line skating rink for hockey. It doesn't appear as though the rink gets a lot of use, but maybe I have just... More

I took my kids to this park last Thursday. They had some good times there. I can't believe I never knew about this park. It has very nice playground for all ages. And a nice bike trail. It also has skating area. So cool. Few shaded places if you want to take your food and eat there. Must go if... More

We pack a picnic lunch and head to the park on a nice day. Play areas are divided by age but easy to keep track of all the kids. Not much shade on hot day, bring plenty of water and a hat

This park is very nice. It's small but has different play areas for different age groups. It also has picnic tables that you can use and you can sit and let your little one find around and you can see all the play areas so if you have more than one kid and they use different play areas you can... My friends and I go here while we work out it is very close to the running/walking trail and it has soccer, baseball, softball, and a huge playground for the children. It's a wonderful place for everybody to go and it's nearby to a lot of neighborhoods which gives easy walking. The kids could go for hours so it's a... More

Batting cages, softball and soccer, biking, running and walking. Nice outdoor space for family fun. Connects to the WOandD trail. Plenty of parking.

The park was quiet and out of the way. Caution - the GPS took us way past the entrance, so keep an eye out for it. With a tournament going on, the amount of parking left a lot to be desired. The fields were OK, but need to be upgraded (better backstops, option for 200' fencing, etc) if more tournaments... More

I like this park because it has three different areas to play in. One area for big kids, another for little kids and the middle is swings. There is lots of room to run and climb. It is a good place to listen to the cicadas. It is a great place to meet friends for lunch.
