I can't say much that hasn't been said but I gave this Five stars because it really should be on everyone's DC list of things to do; we must do our part to let the next generation never forget history.

The Pentagon Memorial is beautifully designed and very well maintained. Pleasant with white blooming crape myrtle trees and flowing water at each memorial. The audio tour is absolutely necessary, as there is very little written information anywhere in the memorial. Outdoors.

Beautiful tribute to those who lost their lives on that tragic day. Nice little garden with running water and names of all who perished on 9/11. You are allowed to take photos of the Pentagon from within the garden only.

Amazing, breath taking memorial. The benches are amazing with the names of all the people and reflection pool underneath. The way it was laid out by the year they were born was moving. A very nice tribute to all who lost their lives and will...More

A somber memorial for sure though I personally feel as though it fails to capture the true horror of what took place. Would have appreciated more history of the event and actions leading up to 9-11 to set the stage.

As I stood in the midst of this memorial I couldn't help but remember that day years ago and where I was at the moment I received word and saw the footage of the attack on the Pentagon. What a solemn and moving place this...More

The Pentagon Memorial is a great tribute to those who lost their lives on 9-11. The memorial was skillfully done and well thought out.

A shade over a 10 minute walk from the Pentagon City metro station. If walking, most comfortable to walk thru the shopping mall in the pleasant air conditioning. There is very little written explanation there but you can phone in and get commentary that way....More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Our plan is to park our car at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Mall (after 6PM) and use the pedestrian tunnel under I-395 to get to the Pentagon Memorial. Can someone tell me where the pedestrian tunnel entrance is -- so I can try and park nearby. Thnx....

If you go after 6:00, you can probably park in the lot at the tunnel entrance.
There is a Metro station close to the national cemetery welcome center. Is there paid parking close to Metro that is outside the cemetery?
