This is an old, former library, the one;y interesting thing is the Tiffany stained glass window at the rear of the building.

The Arlington Arts Center is located on Wilson Blvd. with plenty of off street parking. It is located at the renovated historic Maury School. The ground area also display works of certain artists worth walking around. Although the sign gives hours of operation, call to find out if there is an on going exhibit. I was there this week but it was closed to prepare for the new exhibit (starts late in June). Very nice building and nice hall for exhibits from peeking in. It is located a few steps from Virginia Square Metro and equall distance from Ballston Metro and Clarendon Metro (for food and drink).

I've been here twice. Have tried taking classes here but nothing convenient. Nice facility if it works out for you.

They had an incredible show when I visited and lots of summer camps were going on upstairs for kids of all ages. All mediums of art and very interesting local artists.

Presently there are four different Arts presenting works at the Arlington Arts Center. The center is housed in a former school, hence its strange layout. There are four galleries that I counted and a bit of walking about needed. The four artists exhibitwing don't have much in common. One exhibit, "Click On" is technology driven but includes oil paintings and videos. Another is photography and another deals with water. I enjoyed it and will come back again to see what else will be exhibited here

We just stopped to take some photographs, it was already closed. But it was worth it, we had fun with the statue of liberty that is in the front of the building.
