We had a pleasant Indian lunch, with a six sample wine flight, from white to rose to red to rich dessert wine, up on the 2nd floor veranda overlooking a lovely scene. The staff were very thoughtful, and everything is very clean with outstanding social distancing.

We had a nice tasting of the reserve wines and then enjoyed Indian food and the views and a lovely bottle of wine to go with it. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly!

We stopped for a tasting here after learning some about it online. The setting is beautiful with both well appointed interior and several outdoor setting areas for enjoying your wine with a view in Rappahannock county. Their wines were interesting and complex. We sampled only the red wines and were pleased with the level of maturity in these wines. It was a really pleasant visit.

We visited Narmada last weekend for a brief and much needed respite. We met the owner, Sudha, who was warm and friendly as she shared some of the history of the winery. We had a tasting which was unhurried and very enjoyable. We ate a delicious lunch and sipped a glass of wine. To our pleasant surprise, we liked at least 3 or 4 of the wines enough to purchase a few bottles. The Mom wine, their most popular, is indeed a lovely wine. For us, as my husbands mother was in Hospice and nearing the end of her life, it was the perfect thing. We brought it to her room, shared it with family, drank a toast to her and shared wonderful stories. She passed peacefully a few hours later. It was a fitting end, and the special bottle of wine was appreciated by all of us.

We have visited wineries in France, CA, TX, NC and Virginia. This winery has the top wines of any in VA and equal to those of CA. They are an excellent balance of fruits & tannins and bursting with flavor. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Jim, the winery manage works hard and knows the business well. The owner was very gracious and was available to greet the guests and tell the story of the winery.
