My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to this winery. The host behind the wine bar was the most engaging of all of the wineries that we have been to thus far. He took his time to tell us stories about the winery and go into detail about each wine. We especially enjoyed learning of the unique background of this winery, of how it was founded, and how the owner It's of Indian heritage and instills her culture into her wines, and meals that she serves.
We especially enjoyed the mom wine and a specialty dessert wine that had a unique flavor, and I personally do not ususally enjoy sweet wines.
We will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to stop by this winery on our way back from an overnight stay at the Shenandoah National Park. The place idyllic and charming. The owner even stopped by to chat with us, that was nice! We had a sample wine flight. We chose the milder and sweeter varieties. Overall, it was a pleasant stop.

We included this in our list of wineries to visit because we love Indian food, but I was so impressed with everything else about Narmada. There are three flights of wine to choose from in a tasting, and each one offers wines with unique flavor profiles that I've never seen anywhere else. Narmada's signature wine, MOM, is excellent. The staff and owner were so friendly, and really made it a pleasant stop. The food was delicious and paired great with the wine. I will definitely come back here.

Too many wineries to not have great customer service and generous pours. Skip it. Just was not impressed with their wines. Masks are required. No exceptions. No outside food allowed but only has limited menu items mostly Indian food.

We were there on a Friday morning and the staff suggested a table tasting so that my Mom could sit. We enjoyed our wines. We split the choices therefore being able to try more of their wines.I purchased 3bottles.

My husband and I were recommend to this winery a few years ago by some people that we met at a local restaurant while visiting other wineries in the area. It was a little further out then most of the wineries that we typically visit, so we never quite made it out there. We finally made the trip out to use our Virginia Wine Pass to get 2 for 1 tastings. We were greeted and served by Amy. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. We both chose flight 1 for the lighter and sweeter wines. We really liked the MOM and Primita and even got the Primita filled dark chocolates! The wines were so good that on a whim we decided to join their wine club! We are looking forward to visiting again and trying a different flight, as well as getting our wines sent to us.

We had a pleasant Indian lunch, with a six sample wine flight, from white to rose to red to rich dessert wine, up on the 2nd floor veranda overlooking a lovely scene. The staff were very thoughtful, and everything is very clean with outstanding social distancing.

We have visited wineries in France, CA, TX, NC and Virginia. This winery has the top wines of any in VA and equal to those of CA. They are an excellent balance of fruits & tannins and bursting with flavor. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Jim, the winery manage works hard and knows the business well. The owner was very gracious and was available to greet the guests and tell the story of the winery.

this was a fantastic surprise that we tried on a whim last weekend! My wife and I were spent the weekend in Virginia wine country and decided to pop in for a visit on or way out. I wasn't sure what to expect since there Virginia wine runs the gamut from amazingly good right down to utter gut rot. I am happy to say Narmada is squarely in the former category. They are my second favorite winery in Virginia and pretty much everything I tasted was fantastic! I was a huge fan of the Melange and was very excited to see they had a Tannat as well! You can tell the wine maker put a lot of heart into their work, and the wine shows it! The Venue is also extremely nice and you can see there was a a lot of money invested in the tasting room and event space at Narmada.

The staff has the worst attitude I have ever seen. Avoid specifically if you are south Asian or person of color. I found them very discriminatory. They were rude and obnoxious and asked us to first buy a bottle of wine if you want to sit outside on the deck. Ofcourse we were there for wine tasting, so why rub it in that we must purchase first. Good luck if you still decide to go.
