Perfect for a liesurely stroll along the waterfront to watch the boats and ducks, and relax. There are several restaurant options, as well as a dog park and sand volleyball court. The tour boats dock here, as well as other charters and private boats. There...More

The waterfront is compact and parts were flooded during our visit, there is a lot of waterfront residential development going on in the area too, its OK for short stroll.

There’s currently some construction but you can walk down to the waterfront park and watch planes fly by to land. You can see the big beautiful bridge and also the National Harbor. Beautiful!

The parks in Old Town are relatively small, but great for shady walks along the Potomac and dog walking. We enjoyed strolling at night and watching people come and go.

Nice and relaxing. Walked around and stopped at the waterfront. Sat down and watched the water taxis come and go. It was night time so looking across at the ferris wheel was real pretty. Love the area.

Busy place. Lots of visitors. Dog walkers, runners, people watchers. Always an artist around to draw your profile if you want to have it done. Fun place.

You can see the monument from the waterfront. It is in the distance. The only tall object in the skyline.
