My wife and I live in Germany. After a two year absence, we were able to return to Northern, Virginia. We own a home in the Woodbridge area, but we often frequented Old Town Alexandria and were season ticket holders to the Little Theater of Alexandria. Luckily, we were able to procure tickets to the closing night of Something Rotten. I was thrilled when my brother and his wife opted to join us as they have never seen a play here. All in all, the evening was fantastic. I simply question the wearing of masks during the show while all of us stood outside together before the play and during the intermission sans mask completely exposed to one another. It seems to me that there is no logic to this. Nonetheless, a great show!

Came here to see a nephew in ‘A Christmas Carol’. Not sure what to expect and sure enough it was a top notch production. The acting was superb and the set was equally as superb. I would definitely return to see quality entertainment

If you have a hankering for a personal and up-close engagement with a wonderful little theater, this is the one for you! We just attended our second show in two months. Parking is available on the street nearby or in garages several blocks away. Beautiful old town neighborhood area all around. Not a bad seat in the house. Enjoy!

The Little T of Alexandria is a true gem. With SO many theater opportunities in the northern VA/DC metro area, the "LToA" provides an intimate venue for quality entertainment at very reasonable prices.

As on street parking in crowded Alexandria is often difficult (LToA doesn't have its own lot) recommend going to see a weekend matinee performance. This will give you plenty of time to find either a space on the street or ... contact the theater directly (google its website) as LToA now has an arrangement with a nearby bank to use its lot for free. It's just a few walkable blocks away.

With so many other attractions to see in "Old Town Alexandria" (historic, shops, places to eat) it's easy to enjoy a full day (and night!) of fun. You'll also avoid the unbearable traffic of DC!

Ordered tickets online for a murder mystery " a Party to Murder" and the show was excellent. Easy walking distance on a nice night from the restaurant area in Old Town (about 8 blocks) or there is street parking nearby.
For those who want a low-key evening out with some good theater - this is the place to go. The actors and actresses were very good - and the show had plenty of twists. Tickets were very reasonably priced - and snacks at intermission were $1 each.
Following the show we strolled back to where our car was parked (near the restaurants on King Street) enjoying the ambiance of the walk.
A great date night event!

Every seat is an excellent seat! There is not one seat in the house with an obstructed view. Every production is an impressive production! The box office and lobby area has a homey comforting ambience to relax while waiting for the theatre doors to open, and the box office staff could not be nicer. At $30 per seat, you surely feel as if you are stealing the seat from the theatre, because the actors in their productions are truly top notch. Check it out if you usually enjoy live theatre. Located in quaint Old Town Alexandria, where there are plenty of wonderful pre-show restaurants. Bring your tickets with you to the Union Street Public House and receive a 20% discount on your meal. Parking for the Little Theatre is street parking only, so ladies wearing heels may prefer to be dropped off out front while the gentlemen locate a good parking spot.

This is a small community theater just below the main "drag" of Old Town Alexandria. They do a variety of shows and have season tickets. We attended a recent production of the musical "The Fabulous Lipitones," about a barbershop quartet. Not great singing (hey, I'm a barbershopper), but good acting and enjoyable. Had never been here before, but would go back.

There is a very small anteroom, but a large room to the side for receptions. No parking lot, so parking is everyone for themselves on the street.

I have never seen a bad performance at The Little Theatre of Alexandria. The only reason I give them a 4 star vs a 5 is that the leg room between the seats is a bit cramped and I am only 5'8".

A perfect experience for local theater in a good facility with easy street parking. Season passes available, matinees and evening shows. Musicals, comedies and some dramas. Local theater at its best.
They also support the community with special nights benefiting local organizations from cat Shelters to women's groups. Thank you for that and a rollicking good time.

This community theatre attracts a lot of local talent. Shows are delightful and affordable. It's worth checking the schedule for performances when visiting Alexandria.
