After thoroughly enjoying tours in Chicago and New York, I looked forward to this one. Disappointing...very little history, only 4 stops, too long at each stop with awkward silences. More stops with less food at each is much better.

My boyfriend and I did the U Street food tour with Eric.. The food was incredible at every stop. Everything was set up in a way that made the tour really flow well without having to wait anywhere or walk too fast from one place to the next. I loved how the restaurants were chosen in collaboration with the history... More

I've taken several food tours and this one did not disappoint. Terry was very knowledgeable and interesting. He kept on schedule and brought us to 4 locations to try the local fare in Alexandria, Virginia. Portions were nice and I was glad I got to experience these restaurants. We dined on spinach ravioli, ribs and fried green tomatoes, Lebanese assortment... More

I did the Georgetown Food Tour on a rainy and cool day in March. My guide was a very sweet young lady and the tour was a lot of fun, as our group was a diverse mix of locals and tourists from abroad. The tour was nice to walk around historic Georgetown, learn a little history and get some food,... More

We loved this tour. Our tour guide Terry was very knowledgeable about all things Old Town Alexandria, and we visited locations such as Washington's Townhouse as well as 4 eatery locations. The food was amazing, and included salmon, Mediterranean tapas, spinach ravioli in cream sauce, and finally a chocolate butterscotch desert. Our tour guide pointed out various historical buildings as... More

This food tour will be a big meal so be ready to eat! Friendly and welcoming guide with good knowledge of the area. Great diversity of tastings and loved all the local lore and history that came with it. We were lucky enough to peek our heads into the church and one of the docents there was about to close... We were visiting from Canada and thought this tour would be something awesome to see as it had received such positive reviews. I was very impressed with the TOUR GUIDE, but this tour was about the food. The tour guide Shiney was awesome. So that is why I am rating this tour a two star. The first restaurant had great... I went on the Old Town Alexandria tour and had a great time! The ratio of walking and stopping for food/drinks was perfect. Even though it was a bit chilly, fall is a nice time of year to walk around and explore the town. Our tour guide, Pablo, was very knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in telling us about Alexandria... More

We had a group of 11 with Eric giving us a great tour of Old Town Alexandria. The weather was perfect. Eric was very knowledgeable about the location and even more about all the fabulous food. I loved that the directions on how to get to the location including maps, parking, and what to bring was included. The more information... More

My group of 3 did the Georgetown tour with Christian the last weekend of August 2015. Overall, we had a really great time. It was a fun way to see Georgetown and hear tidbits of history accompanied by local, tasty food. I typically plan my vacations around what I want to eat, so a food tour sounded like a great... More
